Holly Robinson Peete Calls Out the Emmy Awards for Excluding Dr. Danielle Spencer From in Memoriam Segment
Actress Holly Robinson Peete speaks up after the Emmy Awards in memoriam segment fails to mention Dr. Danielle Spencer from the 70s sitcom, "What's Happening..."
they leave people out every year but this is egregious. Dr. Spencer just died last month! Linda hogan was crying cause they left hulk hogan off too. I'm surprised there was no moment of silence for that other dead guy.
Major white people didn't make the cut. The best one left out was self-proclaimed racist Hulk Hogan. His wife said it was the DEI people who kept him from being mentioned. She was probably right.
Though Ananda Lewis & Tony Todd were also left off the In Memoriam screen, Danielle Spencer, before she was a Veterinarian doc, was "Dee Thomas" on What's Happening! & "What's Happening Now!" hit series on a weekly basis & absolutely DESERVED to be acknowledged in Remembrance @ the Emmys. I'm greatly disappointed that she as well as Ananda & Tony were left off too.
Ananda Lewis was forgotten yrs ago. I had to Google her just to remember who she was. But Tony Todd ''CANDY MAN'' is legendary. He scared my panties off running the other way.
"Ananda Lewis was forgotten yrs ago" ONLY by You! But the fact that her name has been mentioned by celebs this month alone shows how IMPACTFUL she had been during her time on earth.
