Comedian Mo'Nique is notorious for her longstanding beef with Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey after she accused them of blacklisting her in Hollywood after she refused to promote her Academy Award winning role in the 2009 movie Precious without additional compensation [click
here if you missed that].

I know she didn't blame her bad decisions on slavery!? 🤦🏾♀️
I’m not even listeing to this. I like Mo’ but it’s time to move on and let go. Ain’t nobody here for this.
Too bad they don't care. Black actors and comedians are a dime a dozen. Black billionaire film producers not so much. Mo'Nique let her husband-daddy advise her right out of her acting career.
Yes Mo we know we know, Oprah and Tyler did you dirty. The only people that don't know it are hearing impaired.
@8:52 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Holding that is only blocking your Blessings Mo
8:52 AM, they read her lips.
She didn't blame her situation on slavery. She referenced slavery for historical context.
Have you seen Mo on the Oscar red carpet since she won? The only winner never invited back. Oprah and Tyler didn't have to blackball her. Major producers dealt with her skanky attitude during the month after her nomination and pulled out the blackball themselves. Taking career advice from her husband is what ruined her.
Holding to anger and causes health problems. You can't change the past but you can change how you think. OP & TP dont care and are paying you dust. LOLO
I'm not going to bother to listen to this either. Mo'Nique, shut your BIG MOUTH a$$ up. You's a punk-talk all that sh!t & can't deal w/the consequences. Self important h3ffa....
@9:58 if that's the case, then why ain't she ever beefing w/ white folks?
White actresses are silent after being blackballed. People are shocked when they come out with their stories like they knew something was wrong because we hadn’t seen them onscreen in awhile. Mo’Nique speaks out and won’t let up on them just makes Tyler Perry’s projects #1. That’s what the black community does! Just dumb and y’all wonder why white people treat you as such! Smh!
No, we can’t let another black man be targeted. We gotta keep him up there with the other white billionaires. They do the same thing so I don’t care they didn’t treat Mo’Nique fair! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Coon logic!
I wish I would put this much energy into hating someone who thought so little of me. Is Hollywood corrupt? Absolutely. Is Monique her own worst enemy? Also true.
@10:05. Get it right. Major producers blackballed Mo, but Oprah and Tyler turned their backs on Mo so that THEY wouldn’t be blackballed, too.
Oprah and Tyler keep a pair of black patent leather tap shoes nearby.
The funny thing about MoNique is other than Precious, the only thing she's really known for is being on the worst Black sitcom since Homeboys in Space. After that travesty went off the air, her next gig was hosting VH1 Charm School. Talk about going from the frying pan into the fryer. I get that she had to walk so Davine Joy Randolph could run (and Shirley Hemphill crawled before her) but neither woman has/had that baggage *coughs husband* dragging them down. Instead of using her platform to talk about real issues, she's focused on two Black billionaires who've proven they could care less.
@12:36 They turned their backs on her because she was wrong. Don't blame her bad decisions on Oprah and Tyler.
I didn't listen to it but girl, ain't you tired or is it the fuel you need to start your day?
Almost Christmas is still funny AF. Mo carried that movie. Same as The Reading. Unexpectedly good although the cast mates could have been better. That movie she with Adra Day and Glenn Close was also good. Whoever says she’s a bad actress definitely smoking some home grown dirt.
I love her a lot of her movie projects.
The scorn of Monique
The scorn of Monique
