She was married to Dr. William (Billy) Bowles, a dentist who had an office on West End Ave. in Manhattan. Dr. Bowles got sole custody of their son in the divorce. Do you remember seeing Phylicia showing off this boy when the Cosby show started? You saw all of Cosby's real life kids but not Phylicia's who was 10 years old at the time. We saw her daughter Condola Rashad a lot when she eventually had her. We never once saw her son because she didn't have a relationship with him.

It was the 80s. Paparazzi had to WORK if they wanted to catch a moment. Of course no one saw her with her kids…any of them unless they were in Ebony or Jet. And no one saw Cosby kids either. It just wasn’t done. No one in this thread could give an accurate description of Cosby children. Even the one who passed, and that was huge news. But his pic was not passed around. Privacy was REAL once upon a time.
