Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Cindy Pánuco is considering ordering them to sell their home to make the payment. “My tentative is to grant this,” the judge said during a hearing. “I just want to make sure we’re getting it right.”
In fact, the paperwork is currently being wrapped up with a only bank statement from Bank of America still outstanding. The judge is looking to determine just how much of the $13.3 million mortgage, which she took out in October 2022, Nicki still has to pay.
While the guard's attorney wasn't fussed about the exact amounts, the judge insisted to play it by the books in fear of an outcome where "there’s no bidder who offers the full $20 million," meaning Nicki and her husband may not get the full value for their asset.
“As I understand it, that’s the only piece missing. Everything else looked good.”
