50 Cent Admits He Did Not Cancel BMF

Last year rapper 50 Cent announced the cancelation of BMF on STARZ after beefing with real life BMF co-founder, Demetrius 'Big Meech' Flenory, over his alliance with rapper Rick Ross [click here if you missed that].

50 admits he was just trolling and that the network made the final decision...

“BMF was already slightly declining [in ratings] before the last season started, and they made some creative choices that were, from my perspective, not good choices,” Jackson told me in late November. “I know people feel like I turned it off, but the networks would have continued to move forward with the show if it was doing the numbers it had been doing. So it’s [one thing] me saying that the show’s over, and then [another] that it’s actually over. Those were the circumstances; it wasn’t me.”

Glorifying the drug culture was never a good look for our people. This show did just that. Glad it’s gone. Arrivederci.
