I visited there last July. It's a beautiful but gentrified city with most Blacks still living in the least desirable part of town. Some things never change.
I did not know about this! Definitely did not learn about this in school. Thanks for the knowledge
There is a black owned company called Fort Mose Whiskey named in the town's honor. Its good :)
