According to Naughty But Nice‘s Rob Shuter, Nicki isn’t invited to the elite gala, hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, following her repeated politically charged rants and public appearances.
“Nicki’s invitations didn’t just slow down — they vanished,” an industry insider told the outlet ahead of the May 4 event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
“Hollywood stopped returning her calls. This isn’t subtle anymore. She’s been shut out.”
Sources also said that while many quietly backed away from Nicki in the beginning because of her strong conservative beliefs, there is now a clear barrier around the rap star.
“There’s an invisible wall around her now,” the insider said.
