A few months ago Vernon Winfrey told the National Enquirer that Oprah would never marry her longtime lover, Steadman Graham because, as Vernon put it, ol' Steddy don't bring nothing to the table. First off, I thought it was weird that he was making a statement to the Enquirer, not to mention talking greasy about Oprah's man, so I just blew it off as a lie. But I'm starting to believe Oprah and Vernon arent so tight and maybe he did talk to the tabloids because they say Vernon is writing a book about Oprah called "Things Unspoken" and Oprah is not happy about it. She didn't even know he was writing a book till she read about it in the paper and even then she didn't believe it. Not until one of her sisters told her she better call Vernon did he admit that he'd been meaning to tell her. The book is supposed to be about how wild and unruly Oprah was as a child. You know she was a pregnant 14 year old when she went to live with Vernon and some people say he's not even her real daddy. This should be interesting.

Terry McMilian Suing Ex Husband Fraud
Terry McMillan is suing her former husband for $40 million, alleging that he tried to smear her reputation during their highly publicized 2005 divorce.
McMillan, 55, filed the complaint Wednesday in Contra Costa County Superior Court against Jonathan Plummer, 32, who inspired her best-selling 1996 novel, "How Stella Got Her Groove Back." The book, later adapted into a movie starring Angela Bassett and Taye Diggs, chronicled the adventures of a 40-something woman who falls for a guy half her age.
The lawsuit claims Plummer, a Jamaica native, married McMillan in 1998 only to become a U.S. citizen. He later announced that he's gay. Plummer's lawyer, Dolores Sargent, also is named in the lawsuit.
"The defendants conspired and formed a plan to threaten to humiliate and embarrass Terry McMillan," the lawsuit said, "and violate her privacy and place her in harm's way, and threatened to damage her professional and personal standing in an attempt to extort monies from her."
McMillan's allegations include emotional distress, invasion of privacy and placing her in a "false light" to harm her professionally and personally. She also claimed that Plummer violated a restraining order by calling her to speak with her son.

Gay Rapper Expose On The Way
A former MTV producer wrote a book called, "Hiding in Hip-Hop: Confessions of a Down Low Brother in the Entertainment Industry" and sold it to Atria Books. That's the same company that published Jermaine Dupri's book, "Young Rich And Dangerous", anyway, it's supposed to name names without naming names and it's going to be out next year. Somebody leak us some chapters! (Radar)

OJ Simpson Has The Worst Handlers Ever
Check it. You should already know that OJ's assets were frozen after murder victim Ronald Goldman's father filed suit to take that money OJ made from that disgusting book he wrote called, If I Did It, about the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. But do you know what OJ's lawyer had the nerve to tell Ron Goldman's father in an effort to get him to drop suit? That he "needs to get rid of the anger and deal with this as a business deal"and invited him to, "talk hard dollars and percentages."
Get rid of his anger? Treat the murder of his son as a business deal? Talk hard dollars and percentages? What are they smoking?

OJ's Book May Still Be Published
The New York Daily News said that Time Magazine is reporting the rights to OJ's book, "If I Did It", will revert back to him in twelve months and that several European publishers have expressed interest it. Ugh. That book has been called the biggest publishing fiasco of 2006. There are 400,000 copies sitting in a warehouse collecting dust, and murder victim Ron Goldman's dad Fred is suing to get the $800,000.00 advance given to OJ and he wants legal rights to the book.

Carmen Calls Radio Show During Nas Interview and Blasts Him
Nas was on a Chicago radio show promoting his new CD, Hip Hop is Dead, when the interviewer asked him whether or not he punched his baby mama Carmen in the face like she claims in her book. Nas tries to dismiss the question, claiming he hasn't read the book, doesn't intend too, and said he never speaks to Carmen, even regarding their daughter Destiny. He said all that was handled through assistants. Why Carmen call the show and say not only has Nas read the book, but he helped her outline the chapters?! She calls him a liar and a hypocrite and said he was the one who told her to put in the part about Beyonce. Listen to rips of the show here, here, and here.

Carmen Bryan on the Wendy Williams Show
For every question Carmen just kept saying
"It's in the book, it's in the book." In the second part
Charlemange got fed up with her. Charla told Carmen she was an attention
seeker who only got famous because three
people she slept blew up and if she'd slept with
Craig Mack, Black Rob and somebody else, she wouldn't
even have a book. When Wendy asked Carmen if Nas was a
good father she didn't answer. Then Carmen said Jay
was the biggest but Allen Iverson was the best.
In the third part it gets a little more scandalous but not too scandalous.
