on one count of conspiracy to transport dogs across state lines for the purpose of dog fighting. Papers, filed earlier this month by federal authorities in U.S. District Court in Richmond, noted that dog fights have been sponsored by "Bad Newz Kennels" at the property since at least 2002. Fifty-four animals were recovered from the property during searches in April, along with a "rape stand," used to hold dogs in place for mating; an electric treadmill modified for dogs; and a bloodied piece of carpeting, the documents said. During a June search of the property, investigators uncovered the graves of seven pit bulls that were killed by members of "Bad Newz Kennels" following sessions to test whether dogs would be good fighters, the documents said.

Feds Take Over Vick Case
Since the prosecutor in Surry, Va failed to issue a search warrant for Ron Mexico's Michael Vick's mansion, the Fed did. The pressure is on now. The Falcon's issued an apology to season ticket holders and Mike cancelled his football camp this year. Oh, and his cousin Davon, the one who started all this by getting caught at the club with a sack, issued this statement to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell : "I want him to know that everything going on is really my fault. They're just making Michael look like something he's not. I want to apologize to Atlanta Falcons fans for what's going on. It's a lot of drama."

Who Broke Into Michael Vick's House?
Michael Vick's dog fighting mansion in Surry, VA got broke into the other night and reports imply the culprits are some of Vick's disgruntled family members. The thieves took three plasma TVs, two floor buffers, a washer and dryer and a leather couch. The papers say the family feels they were owed certain things and since Mike was selling the house.....they just went and helped themselves.

The Prosecutor Might Not Have An Eyewitness But ESPN Does
Last week the prosecutor in Surry County, Va. said since he didn't have any eyewitnesses, he couldn't charge Michael Vick with dog fighting. Well, ESPN has a confidential source that said he's been involved in dog fighting for more than 30 years and has trained and fought over 2,000 pit bulls and he's poised to tell all about the time in 2000 when his dog squared off against a dog owned by someone he referred to as one of the "heavyweights" of the dog fighting world: Atlanta Falcon quarterback Michael Vick.
"He's a pit bull fighter," the source said of Vick. "He's one of the ones that they call 'the big boys': that's who bets a large dollar. And they have the money to bet large money. As I'm talking about large money -- $30,000 to $40,000 -- even higher. He's one of the heavyweights."
"I've fought dogs, I pitted them, I bred them and I've done everything with them," said the source of his three decades in dog fighting. He then went on to describe the scene from that night seven years ago, as he took his 42-pound dog into the pit (the area dogs fight in) to face off against Vick's dog. He says Vick did not get into the pit but had a member of his entourage handle his dog while Vick placed bets with the 20 or so people in attendance. "Then he started, you know, waving money," the source said. "He was betting with everybody … He said he got $5,000. He said he's betting on his animal."
Although the source said he doesn't know how much Vick bet that night, he does recall the matches' outcome: Vick's dog lost. He said Vick is known in the dog fighting community as "the man that comes with all the money" and his reputation is "[that] he brings a good dog and he's going to bet and he's going to bring a nice sum of cash."

No Eyewitness No Case
The prosecutor investigating Michael Vick's dog fighting case said he still doesn't have solid evidence linking Michael to any dogfights.
The prosecutor says while it does appear that dog fighting did take place on the property, it could take several weeks to determine whether charges would be filed and against whom. At least six people could be involved and evidence is still being reviewed to determine whether Michael will be among those charged.

Michael Vick Courts More Trouble
Today the NY Daily News labeled Ron Mexico bad to the bone. Who is Ron Mexico? It's the alias Michael Vick uses to pick up his herpes medicaton. Don't believe me? Who cares! I got it from the Daily News! Look at what else they said:
For as many football highlights as he has produced, Vick is quickly collecting almost as many off-the-field mishaps.
Vick was named in a lawsuit that alleged he knowingly infected a woman with a sexually transmitted disease and used the alias "Ron Mexico" while receiving treatment. He settled out of court.
Last season, Vick was fined $20,000 for making an obscene gesture at fans following a home loss to the Saints. In January, he was investigated for carrying a water bottle with a hidden compartment that security at Miami International Airport said smelled of marijuana. Vick was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Then, in late April, the quarterback made more negative headlines when he missed a congressional breakfast that was held in his honor in Washington. Vick also had a trespassing charge dismissed after he was caught fishing in a private lake in Virginia.
"That is who Michael Vick is," the general manager says. "He's got that posse that is like that. He thinks he's oblivious to this because of who he is, because of the wealth he's amassed. That money went to his head and created real problems. I don't know how else to say it: He is an embarrassment and a little bit of a nightmare. What can't you do? You can't trust him."

It Ain't Looking Good For Your Boy
So you know how Atlanta Falcon Michael Vick keeps saying he had nothing to do with any alleged dog fighting on his property in Virginia? Well, ESPN said that Sports Illustrated is saying that they got two people who can verify that Mike was present for some dog fights plus some clerks from the town saying Mike bought the kind of syringes typically used in dog fighting. Vick has been advised by his attorney to stop talking publicly about the case.

Michael Vick Facing Heat Over Dog Fighting Claims
You know Atlanta Falcon Michael Vick is in trouble over suspected dog fighting on his property in Virginia. Mike claims to have no knowledge of it and says it's a case of family members taking advantage of him. Well some of his "so called" friends are blabbing to ESPN that he DOES know what's up and is very involved in it. And in other football news, they say even though suspended Tennessee Titan Adam "Pac Man" Jones is appealing his suspension for off field conduct, he can't seem to stay out of Atlanta topless bars. I'm just saying, if you want people to think you've changed, maybe you should, you know, change. Especially since messing around in topless bars is what got him in trouble in the first place.

House Owned By Michael Vick Raided
Altanta Falcon Michael Vick's little cousin bout to get him in trouble. Police in Virginia were conducting a drug investigation on Mike's cousin, 26 year old Davon Boddie, and raided his house, only it's not his house, the house is owned by Vick. And to make it worse, they found 60 scarred and emanciated dogs. Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of The Humane Society of the United States, said they've "heard troubling reports for some time that Michael Vick has been involved in organized dog fighting, and we fear that this investigation may validate that very disturbing allegation.''

Michael Vick Flips Off Falcons Fans
finger salute when they booed him Sunday after the
Falcon's fourth straight loss. Maybe Mike was mad because
he got sacked three times and hit more than a dozen times
behind the line of scrimmage.
Anyway, he apologized.
Not for being a loser, for saying f u to the fans.
