Kim Knows For A Fact Biggie Is Not Happy

Lil Kim recently gave an interview to RapRadar.com and talked about how Biggie's spirit visits her. RR: You’ve been publicly unsupportive of Notorious. If Biggie were alive, do you think he would’ve been pleased with the film? LK: I’m a very spiritual person and he’s come to me many of times in my dreams. But, I don’t think he’s happy at all, at all! Because Ms. Wallace doesn’t know Biggie at all and she barley knows Christopher, if you know what I mean. At all! And I was around. Even before he blew up so crazy, so I know how he felt about his mom. And Biggie was so much more than what they put him out to be in that movie. And to be honest with you, I know for a fact he’s not happy. He’s not satisfied at all. At all. And regardless of the fact, everybody who is involved in this movie, he has love for. Everybody. But at the end of the day, he knows who’s who and what’s what. Believe that. And let me tell you something, the way he’s feeling is going to come out. Like, trust me. Everything is going to come out later. You’re going to see who he really loved and the ones that’s standing up for him the right way is the ones representing him the right way.

Well, not really, but the Biggie Smalls biopic Notorious did suffer a massive 72% drop from its opening weekend box office receipts, dropping from fourth to tenth place with a second weekend take of $5.7 million and a total of $31.8 million.

Lil Kim Saw Notorious And Did Not Like It

And here's what she had to say about it:

"I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portaying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t!"

"Another thing is, I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved, so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim story, THE REAL ME! Not some made up bullshit portrayed by a talentless has-been back up singer."

Notorious Opens With $21 Million, One Shooting And Four Stabbings

The Notorious B.I.G biopic opened this weekend in limited release with a respectable $21 million dollars, but not without controversy. The film's star, rapper Jamal 'Gravy' Woolard, was in the house Friday night for a Greensboro, NC showing, but it got shut down before the movie started because somebody got shot twice in the lobby. In other Notorious opening night chatter, four guys got stabbed in a Brooklyn nightclub Saturday night at a party that was promoted as an 'official' Notorious movie after-party. Fox Searchlight, the film's distributor, has denied any connection with the club promotion.

Biggie Smalls' mother Voletta Wallace was on the Angie Martinez show yesterday and posed this question to Lil Kim, “I wanna believe she loved him…but I wanna know…did my son love you?”

Jim and Juelz Buy Out Showing of Notorious

Rappers Jim Jones and Juelz Santana are offering a free showing of Notorious at a Harlem theater today. Which one? I don't know, but I'm sure you savvy Harlemites can figure it out. Anyway, Jim says, “I did it for hip-hop. It’s as big as Obama’s being the first black president. This is part of our history in the urban community; Biggie was our first Obama.” Juelz, who obviously has a better grip on reality simply states, “This is my way of saying thank you to Big. I never got a chance to meet him, so this is me as a Harlem dude saluting a cat from Brooklyn, in a small but meaningful way. Jim and I figured that so many people in the hip-hop community would be going to the see the movie individually; if we can make it so that everyone sees it together, that’s a great thing.” Spotted at DrewReports
