father, Richard Williams, is engaged to 30 year old Lakeisha Graham and when an interviewer phoned to ask Richie how Venus and Serena felt about his impending nuptials he hung up on them.

Williams Sisters Vindicated

Venus and Serena won that multi-million dollar breach of contract suit filed against them after they pulled out of a battle of the sexes tennis match their father arranged for them to participate in without their consent. Pops was found liable but owes no damages. (Comcast)

Venus and Serena Williams Facing Perjury Charges

Venus and Serena are in the middle of a

multi-million dollar breach of contract suit.

These guys say they broke a commitment to play

in a 2001 battle of the sexes tournament, claiming

they lost millions when the girls pulled out. Venus

and Serena say they never agreed to do it, and that

their father made that commitment acting on his own.

That's where the perjury charge comes in.

The girls have testified in court that despite tax returns

that show payments to Richard Williams for management

fees, they both have testified that their father

has never been their manager and had no authority

to commit them to a deal. Attorneys for the

sisters and their father claim the payments

were mischaracterized for tax-deduction

purposes and that Richard Williams

was paid merely for coaching services.

Damn, from fighting a lawsuit to catching a case.
