After being invited on Oprah's show twice to talk about his best selling relationship book, everybody though Steve was under Oprah's wing and on his way to getting his own televised talk show. Chrisette Michelle sold 83,000 copies of her sophomore cd, placing her squarely at number one on the Billboard album chart. Sucks that 83,000 is the lowest sum to reach number one in SoundScan's history, though.
Snoop's Marijuana Script Saves The Day
One of Snoop's entourage got busted accepting a package of weed at the Norfolk Plaza Hotel in Norfolk, Virginia after cops were tipped off about a suspicious package. The box of weed came from Canada and after Weed Carrier Dude got arrested, Snoop stepped up with his marijuana prescription and told officers the box was for him and had just been mis-labeled. An investigation is ongoing.

Click here if that one slipped past you] he also requested a black Maybach with tinted windows, a 72-degree dressing room stocked with Sapporo beer, vodka, tequila, two bottles of $300 champagne, "good quality" peanut butter and jelly, one martini shaker, 12 shot glasses and some Marlboro cigarettes. The promoters gave Jay the same side eye you just did. All he got was the peanut butter and jelly and the 72 degree dressing room.

Who Needs Record Sales?
Ciara's latest release 'Fantasy Ride' sold a measly 81,000 copies it's first week out but so what? CC hooked up another way to clock dollars. She's going on a 10 date tour with Jay Z this summer. She's also booked to open for Britney Spears on the European leg of her Circus tour in June.
Got To Get That Street Cred Back Up
A day or two after being dropped by T.I. and Grand Hustle for being a DEA informant, rapper Alfamega was arrested after a traffic stop turned up a stolen gun. The police reports claim Alfalfa got combative when they found the gun, so they pepper sprayed him. At that point 'Mega ran and cops chased him to a nearby parking garage and hit him several times with their batons. Didn't stop him. Your boy got loose and jumped over the parking garage rail 25 to 30 feet to the ground. Needless to say he didn't get away. Cops scooped him up and booked him on fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest and felon in possession of firearms charges. Al spent three days in jail before bonding out.
