Weezy had been trying to get the case thrown out based on the fact that the drug sniffing dogs were not properly trained. [<-- for real. That was his defense. Jermaine to Judge MJ Dance Contest

The BBC is airing a show called Move Like Michael Jackson and Jermaine Jackson is going to be a judge. Jermaine says, "Michael was a superb dancer who inspired people across the world to master his moves and create their own unique routines. Nike Sets It Straight

The same day Michael Vick's agent announced to the world that Mikey and Nike had reformed their partnership, Nike let it be known: Michael Vick does NOT have an endorsement deal with them. They supply him with shoes as they do with many other athletes and that's it. "Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick," Nike spokesman KeJuan Wilkins said in a statement. Who knows why Mike's agent made that lame-brain announcement but Nike put the brakes on it with the quickness.

Monique's Publicist Quits

Remember when we talked about how Monique was refusing to do press for her upcoming film 'Precious Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire' unless they paid her $100,000 or more [click here if you missed that]? Well Monique's publicist, of all of two weeks, quit on her ass because Monique is still refusing to show up anywhere. She didn't go to the Toronto Film Festival, she didn't go to Cannes, she won't do the talk show circuit, and she won't be at the film's premier this Friday night in New York. Just about the only place she did go was the Sundance Film Festival in Colorado where she received the Special Jury Prize and that was back in February. Hear that? That's the Oscar buzz dying down because nobody likes a premature diva.
