DeShawn Snow Still Having No Fund Fundraisers

If you watched the first season of Real Housewives of Atlanta then you might remember [I say might because she was so boring] DeShawn Snow, the sweet and well meaning wife, whose ideas never really got off the ground. During season one Deshawn held a flop of a fundraiser to benefit her DeShawn Snow Foundation, and even though she invited hundreds of guests to her private residence, she didn't make a slug. They were auctioning jewelry and not a single guest bid on anything, not even the other housewives. They just ate her food, drank her wine and left. How embarrassing! Poor DeShawn is experiencing deja-vu because according to the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, she just held another fundraiser to benefit an all girl school in Atlanta and the school says they haven't heard from Shawn since before the benefit and haven't received one thin dime from her. A consultant on the fundraising committee says it's not Shawn's fault the benefit was flop. She blames the economy claiming tons of people backed out at the last minute after promising to contribute. So don't blame DeShawn!

T-Pain Acknowledges Death of Auto tune

T-Pain showed up to an album release party in miami driving a hearse carrying his big ass chain, his top hats, his auto-tune recorder and blasting Jay Z's Death of Auto-tune.

Jamie Foxx Says

on his concert tour, "We give away a couple of grand to the ladies that can dance the best to the song I have on my album, called Slow. I have ladies coming onstage, and most of the time the women that win are my thick women. For some reason the real skinny girls that are eating lettuce and drinking air don't dance well."

He's Just Being Dennis

Dennis Rodman has been accused for umpteenth time of grabbing and fondling a female against her will. How many times has Denn been accused? More times than I cared to search for, but just putting Dennis Rodman Rhymes With Snitch in Google and I came up with three [click here here and here]. Anyway, Dennis, who was in Miami walking in the Pink Collection Fashion Show, was copping free feels off a chick at the Miami Rock Fashion Week after-party at the Eden Roc Hotel so homegirl called the cops. The investigation is ongoing.

Sickle Cell May Have Attributed to AJ's Death

Fulton County Associate Medical Examiner, Dr. Kelly Rose tells TMZ preliminary autopsy results lead her to believe Ashley "A.J." Jewell suffered from Sickle Cell -- a disease which inhibits oxygen flow to tissues in the body. Rose says it's most likely that Jewell was worked up from the fight -- and because of his condition, it's probable that he couldn't replenish the oxygen he lost during the incident ... which the Dr. says could have fatal consequences.

Roxanne Shante Apologizes for Lying About her PhD

"I would like to thank my long time fans and supporters for your continued support. I am humbled and grateful to all of you for that. I kid you not. They're calling it a Platinum VIP Package and you get to see a screening of Michael Jackson rehearsing for his ill fated 'This It It tour' with Joe Jackson in Las Vegas on Oct. 27, plus an autographed copy of Joe's book, 'Joseph Jackson: Man in the Mirror, Father of the First Family of Music', dinner with Joe, pictures with Joe, plus a hotel room and an invitation for the screening's opening night party at the Palms Casino Resort Blue Moon Club.

And if that's not enough MJ for you, you can also bid on 12 strands of singed hair from when Michael got burned during the shooting of the 1984 Pepsi commercial. Joe doesn't have anything to do with the sale of the burned hair, but that's only because the executive producer on the set was able to scoop the hair up before Joe could get there. The hair is being auctioned off by International Autograph Auctions at the Edwardian Radisson Hotel at Heathrow in London on Oct. 17 and includes a transcript account of the incident and a signed color photo.

Usher Calls 911 on Tameka

Last week word leaked out that Usher and Tameka had a little run in regarding the kids. It was Ush's weekend visitation and he'd left the boys with his mom. That didn't sit too well with Tameka so she went banging on Mama Raymond's door demanding the boys be turned over to her. Mama didn't answer the door and Tameka left in a huff. The next day Usher's tires were slashed and his car was keyed. So he called 911.

I Saw Good Hair

and I have to say, I'm not mad at it. Full disclosure here: I'm not a big Chris Rock fan. He comes off as self-hating and coonish to me at times and I fully expected to hate this movie. I went in expecting to be ridiculed and offended and I wasn't. Good Hair, simply put, was good. I don't want to give away too much, but Good Hair brought to light some really important aspects of black hair care, like how outside of owning and running salons, Black people aren't the ones making the real money off Black hair. Good Hair won't make you hate your weave or feel ashamed of it, but it might make you want to take it out. Does that make sense? You'll just have to see it to understand what I mean, but I give it two thumbs up.
