 According to reports, For the Love of Ray J contestant Monica 'Danger' Leon tried to burn her own house down today. Around 2 pm LAPD received a 911 call about a fire in Danger's apartment complex. When the firefighters arrived the fire was already out, but arson investigators were called and after they looked around a bit, slapped the cuffs on Danger. Can you say 72 hour hold?

A few months ago Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard filed a lawsuit against his baby mama, former Magic dancer Royce Reed, claiming she was making disparaging remarks about him on message boards. At the time I thought Dwight was being petty and vindictive. Now I understand why he gives her such a hard time. This is video of Royce "dropping it low" for a pair of basketball tickets at Ludacris and Terrell Owens' pool party in Miami the other day.

Eve Caught up in Money Laundering Scheme

Remember back in 2006 when Eve was dating that mega-rich African dude and then dumped him after she found out about what a cruel dictator his father was [click here if you missed that]? Well, it looks like she didn't dump him soon enough. Because of that dude Eve is being dragged into an international money laundering investigation. Turns out the guy was setting up dummy companies and wiring in millions of dollars to purchase big ticket items. What does this have to do with Eve? She was listed as president of one of the corporations.

Well, Well, Well, what a weekend it was guys!! Very exciting and BUSY of course! I was recording til late on Saturday and slept late on Sunday(day of Grammy’s) and I woke up to find out that David and I got a Grammy for “When Love Takes Over”!!!

How psyched am I to get another Grammy! I never take those moments for granted, but trust me there are SO many people to thank for making it such a success. David, his management and all of his amazing team.

My team: Nikki, Jeff Rabhan, Joshua Klein and everyone at Monarch, Above and Beyond Ent, EMI (ALL territories)for working OVERTIME to make sure it was a worldwide success! ALL the radio stations that TRULY believed in the record! I always save the best for last and that is the fans! The BEST fans in the WORLD! Jackson Family Want Harsher Charge

According to rumor, Dr. Conrad Murray is expected to be charged with invouluntary manslaughter in the death of Micheal Jackson but word is the family wants something much harsher.

Speaking for the family on a daytime talk show their lawyer said, "(Murray's actions) rose to the level of such recklessness you would say this was a second-degree murder charge. That (manslaughter charge) is just a slap on the wrist, and a slap in the face, because Michael Jackson was someone who we knew was in danger of being brought to his knees, brought his death, by the use of these medications."

Jay Z Fleeced by Investors

Jay Z has mounted a multi-million dollar lawsuit against a bank and an investment firm who he says screwed him in a deal to build a luxury hotel in New York. According to reports,

Jay's company bought a $66 million plot in New York City in 2007 and obtained a $52 million  loan that was assigned to investment managers Highland Capital Management LP and serviced by NexBank SSB. The firm also obtained an extra $11.8 million loan for the venture.


But due to the ailing economy, partners failed to pull in investors and there was a shortfall in funds - so Jay-Z offered the land back to bosses at Highland rather than face foreclosure.

In papers filed in Manhattan federal court on Wednesday (03Feb10), the rapper alleges that executives at Highland were slow in accepting the offer, causing him to accrue interest and personal costs on the loans.

The documents also claim Highland chiefs improperly diverted funds that Jay-Z's company had placed into a reserve to cover potential environmental problems.

The papers state, "This action arises out of the efforts by defendants to bleed additional funds from (the) plaintiff. Defendants embarked on a bad faith course of conduct."
