Nobody Wants Snoop

For the second time this year, Snoop Dogg was denied entry to a foreign country. This time the country that don't want him is Australia. Snoop was scheduled to fly into Sydney this week to host the MTV Australia Video Music Awards but officials nipped those plans in the bud by cancelling his visa.

"This man has been a member of a Los Angeles gang - and is still associated with it apparently - that has been involved in murder, robberies and drug dealing," Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews told Sydney's Macquarie Radio.

"He doesn't seem the sort of bloke we want in this country."

Didn't Australia start out as a penal colony?

Eve Crashed Her Maserati And Got Arrested

E-V-E ran her maserati up on the median on Hollywood Boulevard last night and she must have smelled like alcohol, cause after the cops got there they put her in cuffs. Of course TMZ was there to catch all the action. Poor Eve. One of her boys tried to help by cussing out the camera man, but that only made it worse. Check out the video here.

UPDATE: TMZ says E-V-E posted a $30,000.00 bail and was released. 30 Gs!? Was it a person pinned under that car? See the footage here. Oh yeah, they say Eve's alcohol level was double the legal limit.

Telfair Dropped From The Celtics

Sebastian Telfair was dropped by the Boston Celtics yesterday, four days after he was arrested on a gun charge.

"The facts and circumstances of his case have not been determined, but he does not have a Celtics locker and we do not anticipate that he will," said Celtic managing partner Wic Grousbeck yesterday.

Grousbeck did not say how the team would handle the remaining season on Telfair's contract, which paid the Brooklyn-born 21-year-old just under $1.8 million for the 2006-07 campaign.

Telfair, who at 6-foot was the shortest player ever drafted straight out of high school, had a disappointing season with the Celtics. He started just 30 of the 78 games he played after being traded from the Portland Trail Blazers last June.

The Lincoln HS phenom averaged just six points a game and the Celtics finished at the bottom of the NBA's Eastern Conference, with a worse record than even the Knicks.

Telfair, who has nine brothers and sisters and grew up in the rough Coney Island projects, still supports 17 relatives on his NBA salary.

Did you hear about that woman who claimed Chris Rock might be the father of her 13 year old son and she wanted him to take a paternity test? She's a scammer. TMZ dug up the dirt on her. She's been charged with all kinds of stuff; theft by deception, writing bad checks, DUI, she even told police some cock-a-mamie story about being kidnapped and forced by gunpoint to ingest a "powdery white substance", but her own son busted her. They say this isn't the first time she asked Chris for a paternity test either. The first time she asked Chris for his DNA, she never showed up to get it.

Sebastian Telfair Arrested On The Bronx River Parkway

Do you remember the last time we talked about Boston Celtic Sebastian Telfair? He'd just gotten his chain snatched in front of P Diddy's NY restaurant, Justin's, and somehow rapper Fabolous got shot in the leg at the same location. Translation: Fab's boys from Brooklyn like to snatch chains for fun and but Sebastian ain't play that. Anyway, last night Sebastian was doing 77 mph in a 45 mph zone on the Bronx River Parkway and got pulled over. When asked for his license he offered a suspended Florida drivers license. His passenger didn't have a license either and both men were ordered out of the car. That's when the cop noticed a handgun under the driver's seat. Both Sebastian and his passenger said they didn't know where the gun came from. They were both arrested and each posted $7,500.00 bail and were released. Sebastian's cousin Knicks guard Stephon Marbury came to court with him. "I was there to support my cousin - and that's it," Marbury told The Post. "Hey, shit happens. What can I say about it? Shit happens. He's a young guy."

Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck said the "players on the Celtics have been explicitly warned, this year, to obey the team and league gun prohibition as well as state laws. We take this very seriously, and will act accordingly once the facts have been determined."

I Always Heard Preacher's Kids Were Wild

About a week ago a video of Akon humping the life out some girl on stage started making the rounds on the Internet. Later it comes out that the girl was a 14 year old preacher's daughter. This week the girl's father speaks out in her defense saying Akon took adavantage of her, saying she was thrust into a situation she could not control.
