High Powered Attorney Takes Case Against Da Brat

That girl Da Brat smacked in the face with a rum bottle hired high powered attorney Willie Gary to litigate her case. A statement released by Gary claims, “Our client was physically attacked by Da Brat and has suffered significant head injuries, permanent disfigurement as well as mental distress. Ms. Stevens is a cheerleader, choreographer, dancer, actress and entrepreneur, whose career has been greatly affected by this incident." Gary is well known for winning multi-million dollar settlements for his clients.

Dr. Jan Adams Not Board Certified

Dr. Jan Adams, the doctor who performed Dr. Donda West's tummy tuck and breast reduction, is not certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and he's been arrested for several DUIs. They say it took Dr. Adams 8 hours to perform Kanye's mama surgery when it only should have taken 4, an early indication that something had gone horribly wrong. But instead of sending Donda West to a recovery center, Dr. Adams sent her home. And although 911 was called, they say Kanye's mama was dead by the time the paramedics arrived. Dr. Adams, who's made appearances on Oprah Winfrey and the Discovery Channel's "Plastic Surgery: Before and After", says Donda West may have died from heart attack, pulmonary embolism or massive vomiting but maintains he's done nothing wrong.

Sad but true. They say Dr. Donda West had been warned against having a tummy tuck and breast reduction by one doctor because she had a pre-existing heart aliment, but that she turned around and went to a different doctor who agreed to perform the surgery.

Kanye West's Mother Cause of Death Revealed

CNN is reporting that Kanye's mother died due to complications of plastic surgery. I'd actually read that on a message board yesterday, but didn't want to print it until I got it from a more reputable source.

Shaunie getting her case together y'all. She filed papers in the Dade county divorce courts asking to see copies of Shaq's tax returns from 2004, 2005, and 2006. She wants to see his current player contract and any endorsement and personal appearance contracts, plus a copy of each and every deed registered in Shaq's name. Tennessee Titan Adam PacMan Jones will serve his full one-year suspension for detrimental conduct. PacMan met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell last Friday hoping to get his suspension overturned. No Dice. The NFL released this statement, "Commissioner Goodell notified Adam Jones that his suspension will remain unchanged and will continue through the remainder of the 2007 season. He will be eligible to begin working out at the Titans' training facility following the conclusion of the team's season." That’s to say if he can stay out of trouble until then.

Velma Warren Brown filed papers in the Aiken county court Wednesday claiming she and the late Godfather of Soul were married in 1953, had 3 children, lived together for 17 years, and that she'd never been served, nor had she ever signed any divorce papers to end her marriage to James Brown. Nice Try Velma. Court documents surfaced showing a judge granted a divorce in 1969, not to mention the fact Velma had remarried. "If Ms. Brown believed that she was not divorced, she's admitting to having herself committed bigamy," said Louis Levenson, an attorney representing several of James Brown's children.
