Rick Ross Mocked Relentlessly

I am a goon! See! I been arrested! Look at my mug shot! Last week The Smoking Gun revealed Rick Ross as an ex-prison guard, now all of a sudden they're posting his mugshots. Me thinks 'Ol Ricky begged TSG to post this mug from when he got arrested in Florida back in January to help shore up his tarnished gangster image. Foxy and Kim Being Sued

Fox Boogie and Lil Kim are being sued by Simon & Schuster in Manhattan Supreme Court for failing to deliver manuscripts for books they were supposed to have written years ago.

"Both books were long overdue and never delivered," said company spokesman Adam Rothberg.

Lil' Kim, real name Kimberly Jones, signed a deal to write an untitled novel in 2003. The manuscript was supposed to be done by June 30, 2004, but she still hasn't turned one in, despite pocketing a $40,000 advance.

Foxy, real name Inga Marchand, was supposed to have "an acceptable manuscript" done by Feb. 1, 2006, and still hasn't gotten it done, despite being paid a $75,000 advance.

DMX Raps Outside Court

After pleading not guilty to felony identity theft and felony theft charges in a Phoenix courtroom on Thursday, DMX started rapping for reporters after he left the hearing. Asked for a comment on his latest charges DMX rapped, "If and when you ever fall down, get back up. . . . Stand for something or fall for everything. Wait for the right pitch, you'll miss every swing..." before being pulled away by his attorney.

Diddy and Cassie Engaged?

Rumors are running rampant that 39-year-old Sean "P Diddy" Combs and 21-year-old singer Cassie are planning a wedding. P-D, who has one child with celebrity stylist Misa Hylton-Brim, 3 children with long suffering girlfriend Kim Porter, and one child by his secret Atlanta lover Sarah Chapman, is said to be over the moon about the upcoming nuptials. Insiders claim a text message forwarded to Diddy's close friends confirm the rumors.

Foxy Brown Says Jay Z Abandoned Her

“A lot of things have happened over the years between Jay and I,” she says of the man who signed her to a multimillion-dollar deal at Def Jam in 2005, nine years after their classic duet “Ain’t No Nigga” gave him his first radio hit.

But I’ve been incarcerated for eight months, and Jay’s been everywhere, and he hasn’t mentioned one thing about, ‘Tell her I love her. Tell her to be strong.’ That broke my heart more than anything. When they sent me to jail, I just knew he would be there-everyone came. But he never showed up… My mother always says, Jay also said this, in the tru life freestyle ‘Inga, when a person shows you who they are, believe them. Been showing me all through the years and you just don’t wanna believe it.’"

Untitled Is Number 1

Nas's untitled cd landed at number 1 on the billboard charts after moving 187,000 units it's first week out, pushing Weezy's double platitum, Da Carter III, into the number 2 spot after 3 weeks in the top spot. And speaking of the chart, 50 Cent and the G-Unit's latest offering T.O.S ain't even in the top ten. Ouch!

50 Cent Suing Taco Bell

50 Cent is suing Taco Bell for planting a fake story about him changing his name for a Taco Bell promotion. According to the suit, Taco Bell parlayed a media stunt into an ad campaign. 50's lawyers are accusing Taco Bell of false advertising by circulating a letter addressed to 50 asking him to "change his name for one day from '50 Cent' to '79 Cent,' '89 Cent' or '99 Cent.' "
"After Taco Bell drafted the letter, it did not send it to [50 Cent]. Instead Taco Bell released it to the national press," his lawyers wrote. The letter was designed to promote the company's "79-89-99 Cent Why Pay More" campaign, while avoiding the multimillion dollar fee the rapper might have charged to use his name, the lawsuit claims.
