Kat Williams Gone Crazy

Kat Williams got committed to a psychiatric hospital in South Carolina over the weekend. Your boy was trying to check into a motel wearing a bathrobe, a towel on his head and acting weird, causing hotel employees to call the cops on him, but since there weren't any crimes being committed they left. Later that day Kat appeared on the doorstep of attorney Garryl Deas asking for help. During their brief conversation, Deas said Kat told him he felt the police were "attempting to violate his rights" and he was interested in retaining Deas' services. Kat talked to Deas about his career and said people thought he was missing because he hadn't shown up for a few gigs. Kat also told him there were rumors he had died in a plane crash, which Deas said was obviously not true. Deas told Kat he had to leave the office for a court date and Kat asked if he could wait for him, which he did. When Deas got back Kat was acting even weirder and speaking gibberish. Deas called Kat's fam and they came and had his ass committed to Santee Wateree Mental Health Center.

Don Cornelius Caught A Case

Remember when Soul Train OG Don Cornelius got arrested for beating his wife? The LA city attorney hit Don with charges of spousal battery, assault with a deadly weapon and dissuading a witness from making a police report, all misdemeanors. He could face up to one year in prison on each of the charges.

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED…WHEN I LEFT THE CLUB, I WAS ENCOUNTERED BY A THIRSTY PAPARAZZI AS USUAL. HE FELT HE HAD MORE RIGHTS TO MY SPACE THAN ME, SO I PUT MY HAND UP TO PREVENT HIM FROM TAKING MY IMAGE. I DIDN’T ASSAULT HIM BUT MERELY PUTTING MY HAND UP TO COVER HIS LENS. THERE WERE FIVE POLICE OFFICERS IN FRONT OF MY ROOM AND I HAD NO IDEA WHY. I HAD MY SECURITY GO SPEAK WITH THEM. THE COPS WERE VERY CORDIAL BUT TOLD ME THEY HAD TO ARREST ME BECAUSE A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THAT WAS THE BOGUS PART. THEY PLACED ME IN HANDCUFFS AND DROVE ME TO THE STATION. THEY SPOKE ABOUT HOW THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY A PUBLICITY STUNT BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER BUT THEY STILL HAD TO GO THOUGH THE MOTIONS. WHEN I GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL THERE WERE PAPARAZZI HANGING OVER THE BRIDGE ABOVE THE HOTEL TRYING TO GET A SHOT OF ME GETTING OUT THE POLICE VAN. EVEN THOUGH I WASN’T CHARGED, THE DAMAGE WAS DONE. SURE ENOUGH THE NEXT MORNING, PLASTERED ACROSS EVERY MEDIA OUTLET… KANYE GETS ARRESTED. IT DIDN’T MATTER THAT I WASN’T CHARGED OR THE FACT THAT I HADN’T ASSAULTED ANYONE. ALL THAT MATTERED WAS THAT I WAS ARRESTED.

New Charges Against Suge

Remember when Suge got arrested for stomping out his girlfriend on the strip in Las Vegas and the boys found Ecstasy and hydrocodone on him? They're charging his ass. The Vegas DA told the press, "It took a while for the lab to analyze the substances, which caused a delay in filing the charges. Considering Mr. Knight's notoriety, these are serious charges." The night he was arrested Suge was charged with felony assault and misdemeanor domestic violence but he may skate on that because his girlfriend has since gone missing and with no complainant, there's no case.

Damon Dash Don't Have A Pot To Piss In

"I've worked with musicians, artists and entertainers that in the eyes of the media are very wealthy," said lawyer Jason Gabbard, who represented a fashion firm that settled a suit against Damon Dash and his wife over $148,505 in unpaid fees. "But to borrow a phrase from my Kentucky homeland, they haven't got a pot to piss in - they're broke." A Manhattan judge this week ordered the city to seize Dash's Chevrolet Tahoe, since he wasn't making the $714.99 monthly payment on the leased SUV. That October suit came on the heels of one in August, when Eastern Savings Bank foreclosed on the $7.3 million mortgage for two trendy Tribeca condos where the monthly $78,504.26 bill went unpaid for months. Dash faces an outstanding $2.1 million tab with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, a $4,500 bill from the state for not paying workers' comp and a suit that says he stiffed the law firm that handled his child-custody case. Dash even got dumped by another firm representing him in a $3.5 million suit against accountant-to-the-stars Barry Klarberg, who is accused of bungling his tax returns, costing him millions.

At one point I was providing her a half a million dollars a year with out any court being involved...I'm really only responsible for him [Marquis] and that is what she found out after I was taken to court. Even though Kanye won the award for Ultimate Urban act he was pissed about it. Kanye told the British press, "I won nothing last year and I'd brought out Stronger. Then this year, just because I was there, I won best urban act. This was Lil Wayne's year."

Neverland Sold Into Joint Venture

Micheal Jackson signed over part ownership of Neverland Ranch to Sycamore Valley Ranch Company LLC. Sycamore is actually a partnership between Mike and company called Colony Capital that owns the Las Vegas Hilton, the Red Rock Country Club and a few other Las Vegas properties. Word is Mike may end up singing for his supper at the Vegas Hilton in exchange for a place to stay. Oh and they're changing the name. From now on Neverland will be know as the Sycamore Valley Ranch.

Suge Suing Kanye

Back in 2005 Suge Knight went to Kanye West's VMA after party in Miami and got shot in the leg. At the time rumors spread that Suge accidentally shot himself while others claimed there was another shooter. Whatever happened, Suge is now suing Yeezy claiming he failed provide adequate protection and as a result he was shot, lost a $135,000.00 diamond earring, and was forced to take a private jet back to California. In total, Suge is seeking damages from 'Ye that include medical expenses and mental anguish for “the loss of use and enjoyment of his earring.”

Pepa In Real Estate Scandal

Sandy 'Pepa' Denton got drama with her ex-husband and his baby mama. One year after Pepa divorced Naughty by Nature front man Anthony 'Treach' Criss, she met and married this dude named Emora Horton. Soon after, Emora and Pep formed Scotch Bonnet Realty Corp. with Emora running the business. Within a year Emora got his ex-girl friend, Cateania Matthews, pregnant and he and Pep divorced but stayed in business together. At some point Emora and his baby mama Cateania pulled a scam where Scotch Bonnett Realty 'sold' her a house but the lied about the amount of money she put down on it in order to secure a home equity loan for $30,000.00.

Fast forward, Cateania is in bankruptcy court trying to get out of paying the loan while Pepa is claiming her name was forged on the transfer deed and that the house should still belong to her with no liens attached. In the end, Pep decided not to push it and told her lawyer, "I'm a mother; she's a mother. Fine, let it go." They say by the end of Tuesday's court proceedings, the two women were smiling, crying and hugging each other, clearly relieved to have put the legal battle behind them. Cateania is to give up the property as part of her Chapter 13 court proceedings.
