Michael Jackson Auctioning Glove

Michael Jackson is auctioning off his iconic single glittery glove, the front gates to Neverland Ranch and 2,000 other personal items. The auction begins on April 21, 2009 and bids will be accepted in person and online. The sale is to be broadcast live on Auction Network. Jacko says he plans to donate a portion of the proceeds to MusiCares, a charitable organization founded by the Recording Academy to help musicians in need.

Bobby Against Book Release

Remember last summer when word spread that Bobby Brown was writing a book and just as soon as excerpts began to leak there was an announcement that the book was being canceled? Well, the guy who co-wrote the book with Bobby, Derrick Handspike, is going ahead with the release against Bobby's wishes. Handspike says after the leaks came out Whitney put pressure on Bobby because of all the embarrassing information he revealed so Bobby backed out. Too bad the book was already finished. Handspike says he has no hard feelings against Bob but business is business so he released the book today and it's available at Barnes and Nobles and Amazon.com.

Andre 3000 Facing Lawsuit

Atlanta MC Andre 3000 has been named in a $2 million lawsuit alleging copyright infringement, breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets. The suit, filed by Timothy McGee of Boston, claims Andre along with Cartoon Network and Turner Broadcasting (who are also named in the lawsuit), stole his idea for the Emmy Award winning cartoon, "Class Of 3000."

According to bankruptcy records, the day Michael Vick went to jail he bought a $99,000.00 Mercedes, cashed four checks totaling $24,900, gave $28,000 to the mother of his oldest child, paid a public relations firm $23,000 and gave a friend $16,000. The filings also show that from the day he pled guilty (Aug. 27, 2007) until the day he reported to jail (Nov. 19, 2007), he spent over 3 million dollars. Now, on the eve of his release, Vick has filed for bankruptcy protection from his creditors, including the Atlanta Falcons who seek a return of his 3.75 million dollar signing bonus.
