BeBe Winans Arrested

Gospel singer BeBe Winans was booked March 11th on a domestic assault charge for allegedly pushing his ex-wife to the ground during an argument last month. According to a court filing, a copy of which you'll find below, Winans, 46, and his former spouse got into a "verbal altercation" on February 13 about "custody issues dealing with their children." At the time, Winans was at his ex-wife Debra's Nashville home, where he had driven to pick up his children. "The victim was telling the defendant of issues with the children when he became irate. The defendant then pushed the victim to the ground." Winans, pictured in the mug shot at right, was arrested yesterday on a misdemeanor domestic assault charge. He was briefly held at the Davidson County jail before posting $1000 bond. Winans, best known for albums recorded with his sister CeCe, has won four Grammy awards.

I Saw Solange

at Center Stage in Atlanta last night and she rocked it. I am not lying. She did her thing in 6 inch heels and jumped into the mosh pit and danced with the crowd near the end of her set. She did shout out Seattle instead of Atlanta one time but it was all good. Estelle rocked the house too, but complained that she was tired of singing American Boy, and I'm like, whatever, just sing the damn song.

Nick Cannon Signs Deal With Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon signed a groundbreaking deal with Nick Cannon making him chairman of Teen Nick. Cannon to Create, Star, Produce and Direct Original Programming for Nickelodeon’s Teen Nick Network.

Chris Brown's manager Tina Davis released the following statement:

“The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports. If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements.”

Sources tell Baller Alert that Sole' left Ginuwine after the recent spat of rumors that him and Lisa Raye were messing around. They say Sole', who was saved several years ago, isn't sure if the rumors are true, but she's embarrassed and worried about what her church members will say.

withdrew his name from the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards with this statement: "Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so."
