Foxy Brown Caught Up In Prison Scandal
There's an investigation going on at Rikers Island regarding certain prisoners getting special treatment. They say Foxy Brown was allowed to put up a sheet across her cell door for privacy, to have make-up, wear Gucci sneakers and Fendi scarves and that when her shoes and scarves got dirty she would get new ones. Insiders also claim Fox got unlimited phone and TV access and that one time she was supposed to do 76 days in solitary confinement for fighting At least Fox wasn't as bad as Remy Ma's man, Papoose. They say when 'Poose gave a rap concert at Rikers back in 2006, he was able to pull strings to get a couple of his friends, who were on high security lock down and not allowed concert privileges, into the show. To repay the jailers for their kindness, 'Poose turned around and flashed gang signs from the stage, sparking a mini riot where two inmates got slashed across their faces with razor blades.
But it's not just rappers getting special treatment on Rikers. This one Jewish guy was allowed to have a Bar Mitzvah for his son inside the jail and male and female guards have been fired for smuggling in scalpels, weed, cell phones and for having sex with prisoners and staging gladiator style fights.
Wanda Scared the Hell Out of Teddy Riley
Last Wednesday RCA Music group held a surprise party for Jaime Foxx to give him his platinum plaques for 'Intuition' and couple of its singles. While Jaime was accepting his plaques and thanking all the people who made it possible, he told a story about the time he tried to give Teddy Riley his demo back in his In Living Color days. Teddy was the featured musical guest that week and the first time Jaime got a chance to talk to Teddy was after he'd just finished a skit involving his character Ugly Wanda. Jaime says he ran up on Teddy dressed as Wanda and was like, "Can you listen to my demo?" And Teddy, looking at this big transvestite was like, "You know, I feel very uncomfortable right now” and walked away. Jaime went on to thank Teddy for blowing him off that day, saying if he'd become a hit singer back then, his career would have been long over by now.

The Club Owner Was Scamming
Mathew Knowles released a statement about Beyonce canceling on that NY club date saying, "The cancellation of the launch party for Beyonce’s “I AM…” tour, first scheduled for this Saturday at M2, was a result of a breach of contract by the promoter. Beyonce never had a contract with the club itself and no one in her camp dealt directly with the venue. The superstar was never scheduled to perform but was to serve as a co-host and introduce singer/songwriter Solange’s performance. Patrons were falsely promised a performance by Beyonce." Well, Club Owner Dude, who had absolutley been advertising a Beyonce show at his club, is going around saying the real problem is Promoter Guy didn't cough up the $200,000 on time so Matt stopped answering their emails, even after Club Owner Dude offered to put up the 200 Gs himself because he'd already invested money and put his club's rep on the line by promoting the event.
Yeah well, E Online got a copy of the agreement and it says expressly says that "the artist" would not give a performance of any kind. Click here and read it for yourself. It's item 1. under the terms of the agreement. So Promoter Guy and Club Owner Dude WERE falsely advertising a Beyonce concert.

Usher
If You Have $200,000
you can hire Beyonce to perform at your venue, but she might not show up. That's the deal with M2 club in NY so they're threatening to sue her ass. M2 contracted Beyonce to perform at their club tommrow night to kick off her North American tour, but Sasha cancelled on them at the last minute saying she didn't have time for a show, but that she would come hang out for an hour instead. M2 was not having it. They say they've already sold tables for thousands of dollars, plus kicked out over 100 grand to rent soundboards, wind machines and lighting and stuff. The club is claiming a “loss of reputation” in addition to the cash spent. The owner was all like, “We had an overwhelming response from our clubgoers, who were lining up to buy tickets and tables. This will come as a great disappointment to all of them. If Beyonce cancels and doesn’t give us a new date, this hurts our credibility in nightlife.”

NFL Suspends Donte' Stallworth
After Cleveland Brown Donte' Stallworth pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter and received a 30 jail sentence, [good thing he didn't kill any dogs, right?] the NFL announced that Donte' would be suspended without pay indefinitely.
"The conduct reflected in your guilty plea resulted in the tragic loss of life and was inexcusable," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to Stallworth. "While the criminal justice system has determined the legal consequences of this incident, it is my responsibility as NFL commissioner to determine appropriate league discipline for your actions, which have caused irreparable harm to the victim and his family, your club, your fellow players and the NFL," Goodell said.
After his 30 days is complete Donte' will spend 2 years under house arrest and 8 years on probation. Under the house arrest provisions, Donte' would be allowed to play football.
