Jilted Bride Gets 6 Figure Kiss-Off

New Jersey Net Richard Jefferson called of his wedding to former Nets dancer Keshia Ni'Cole the night before the ceremony, by email, but don't feel too bad for Keshia because Rich says he gave her a six figure settlement to help her "get on with her life."
Richard [who has been dogged by gay rumors] and Keshia had spent the week before their wedding in LA at the wedding of a friend. On their way back to NY, Rich told Keshia he would meet her there, but instead hopped a flight to Paris with some pals and sent Keshia the email telling her the wedding was off.
In a statement to the press Richard explained himself saying, "It's so crazy, the divorce rate out there. If you aren't 100 percent certain about something, you shouldn't do it."

Jada Says

"When you have three kids, you've got to take your opportunities when they come. In a limo, on the way to the Academy Awards this year, Will started looking at me in this way that drives me wild. We started kissing passionately, and the next thing I knew, well, let's just say we missed the red carpet and I ended up with almost no makeup on."

Akon's New Baby Mama

wants her money. Just found out married singer Akon has a six-month-old baby on the side in California and the kid's mother says 'Kon is not stepping up to the financial plate. Sarah Coleman says she's has been unable to serve Akon with child support request papers, even after sending process servers to Michael Jackson's funeral to catch him. Akon, on the other hand, says paternity was only established a month ago and that baby girl needs to fall back and give him a chance to get set up payments, blaming the hold-up on the fact that they live in different states and his busy touring schedule.

In an interview with U.K. magazine Pride, Nia Long was asked about singers who try to act and Beyonce's performance in 'Obsessed' specifically, to which Nia replied, “I didn’t see ‘Obsessed,’ so I can’t comment, but it’s just not about how talented you are anymore. It’s about, ‘How much box-office revenue will this person generate?’ When you see certain people – we won’t name names – they just don’t have the skill, and no one in their team has said, ‘You need acting classes.”

Nas Doesn't Have Nearly As Much Money As Kelis Thinks He Does

So says he. When Kelis petitioned to the court for support pending her and Nas' divorce, she cited the $11 million dollar record deal Nas signed with Def Jam in 2006. Well, Nas countered saying he only made $4 million bucks from the Def Jam deal and that he currently pulls in $147,000 a month, so he can only afford to give Kelis $5,000 a month because he has over $71,000.00 in monthly expenses, including $10,000 a month for clothing/hair/toiletries/personal effects.

Wayne's Baby Mama Releases a Statement Regarding the BET incident

I, Antonia ” Toya” Carter, have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single “Every Girl”. I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed. Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father. Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.
