Naomi Campbell for Harper's Bazaar

Ever Since Michael Died

Jermaine Jackson has maintained a high profile, speaking on his dead brother's behalf and vowing to devote the rest of his life to spreading Michael's message. This was so not the case back in 2003 when he was shopping an explosive tell-all book about his most famous sibling. Here's a taste of what Jermaine had to say back then.
“My brother is a superstar, yes. My brother is wealthy. He owns shares in Sony music. He drinks, he does drugs, he lies, he cheats, he changed his skin color and mostly, he’s human. He attracts gay men and wards off women like the plague.”
Not all of Jermaine's poison pen was reserved for Michael. He had a few choice things to say about Pappa Joe, too. Namely, “Joseph did some disgusting things to LaToya and Rebbie, especially. If it weren’t for Mother’s loyalty to him, he’d probably be in prison for what he did to our sisters.”
You can read more excerpts from the manuscript here.

What Do You Think

about T.I. putting his oldest sons' mother on blast in a new mixtape?
Here's the verse:
"I’m in a public tug of war for dough I struggled for. I owe money for my sons, honey and nothing more. Do much more than average for my sons and you just ignore, in fact, you can get off your ass and work if you don’t wanna be fucking poor. That’s not quite the issue is it? It’s that we don’t fuck no more. That’s supposed to be you who buying houses, picking out decor. That’s supposed to be you in Bentleys, Fendi and Dior. That’s your problem, just accept it, you and I are never more. And forever we never will, just try your best to deal. I rolled around with you for years and I regret it still. And well, since you ain’t let yourself know, you look a mess, just let yourself go I guess."

C Murder Found Guilty

Master P's 38-year-old brother Cory Miller aka C Murder has been found guilty of second degree murder for killing a 16-year-old in a 2002 bar fight. C had originally been convicted for the murder in 2003, but the judge overturned the ruling after it was discovered several witnesses had had criminal records expunged in exchange for their testimony. In May, Cory pleaded no contest to attempted murder in relation to a separate nightclub fight in 2001. He was sentenced to time served in that case. Sentencing for Cory's murder conviction is pending.

How Rude

The New York Times fashion blog The Cut did a post about its parent magazine's review of the new JC Penny in Herald Square branding it for the fat and tacky. The article mentions Ralph Lauren's clothing line, Charlotte Ronson's line, Nicole Miller's line, Liz Clairborne's line and Kimora Lee's line. Funny [but not really] how Kimora's post pregnancy picture is the one that ends up next to the 'fat and tacky' tag line. How Rude. Click here if you want to read the post.

That's Her Story and She's Sticking To It

Real Housewife of Atlanta Lisa Wu-Hartwell says she and her husband Ed were not evicted from their home. Responding to rumors that she'd lost her Georgia estate to foreclosure, the Bravo reality TV star tells Essence magazine, "We are not ignorant about the state of the economy, but we chose to move, we were not evicted. We've been settled in our home for two months now and we've owned it for five years, as well as other properties. We planned to build on that 10 acres of land and sell the property, but decided against it when the market went bad and I'm glad we didn't. It's just quite silly that there are reports that we were put out as if it weren't our decision to relocate. Our decision to downsize is what I call being [financially] responsible."
