Jay Got to Pay

Remember back in February when former New Jersey Net Jayson Williams' wife asked for a divorce because, hell there were too many reasons. Click here and here if you need to catch up. Anyway, the divorce is near final and Jayson has been ordered to pay ex-wifey $200,000.00 dollars. But you wouldn't believe the way Jay Rock showed out in court. They say he was boo hooing and crying real tears while trying to explain to the judge that he's broke as hell. Even though Jay made over $87 million during the course of his NBA career with the Nets, he claims to have spent the last of it paying off mortgages on three homes in South Carolina. Jay told the judge he even had to borrow money to pay tuition for his kids, Tryumph and Whizdom. <---who and who?
Judge did not give a eff and ordered Jay to sell the houses in South Cakalaka and anything else he had worth value and pay his estranged wife her money.
Life has been one big downward spiral for Jay ever since he was convicted of trying to cover up an accidental shooting that cost his limo driver his life. <--Google it.

You Should Be Happy To Hear

that Maia Campbell is getting treatment. According to a friend of Maia's late mother, author BeBe Moore-Campbell, Maia has been diagnosed bi-polar, not schizophrenic as is commonly believed, and what exasperates the problem is that Maia does not like to take her prescribed meds, rather she chooses to "self medicate". The friend asks that you keep Maia in your prayers.

Jermaine's Vienna Tribute Falling Apart

As you may or may not have heard, Jermaine Jackson is planning a tribute for his late brother Michael in Vienna, Austria. At first several big name acts were attached to the program, Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, Akon, Natalie Cole, Sister Sledge plus Jermaine hinted at a duet between him and Michael. <--huh? Anyway, after rumblings that none of the other family members were in favor of the tribute or were even going to be there, especially mother Katherine, stars have been dropping out left and right. First Chris Brown cancelled and then Mary J. Insiders are referring to the "tribute' as the Jermaine Jackson Show and citing it as another example of Jermaine doing what's best for Jermaine as opposed to what's best for the family.
