Monique's Publicist Quits

Remember when we talked about how Monique was refusing to do press for her upcoming film 'Precious Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire' unless they paid her $100,000 or more [click here if you missed that]? Well Monique's publicist, of all of two weeks, quit on her ass because Monique is still refusing to show up anywhere. She didn't go to the Toronto Film Festival, she didn't go to Cannes, she won't do the talk show circuit, and she won't be at the film's premier this Friday night in New York. Just about the only place she did go was the Sundance Film Festival in Colorado where she received the Special Jury Prize and that was back in February. Hear that? That's the Oscar buzz dying down because nobody likes a premature diva.
