Brian McKnight Show Workers Revolt

Last week we exclusively reported that money problems could force the Brian McKnight show to be shut down [click here if you missed that]. Well, if you needed proof that my source was on point how about this: More than 20 employees have filed non-payment complaints against the show totaling $86,300!

Another Islamic Group Trying to Shut Down Beyonce

A week ago Beyonce was forced to cancel her concert in Malaysia after protests from the country's Islamic leaders. Now you can add Egypt to the list of countries trying to shut your girl down. Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood is demanding to know who gave Sasha permission for a November 6th concert in their country. Not sure how much pull the Brotherhood has, but left up to them there will be one less stop on the final leg of Beyonce's world tour.

Larry Johnson's Mouth Getting Him in Trouble

A couple of nights ago Kansas City Chief Larry Johnson was arguing with some of his Twitter followers calling one a fag and another a broke loser. This was one day before he also went off on reporters calling them fags too. The Chiefs finally got fed up with Larry's behavior and told him to sit his ass down somewhere, literally. Larry has been told not to show up for practice or any other team activities while an internal investigation is conducted. So you know what happened next, Larry issued the standard apology:

First of all, I want to apologize to the fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and the rest of the NFL, Commissioner Goodell, the Chiefs organization, Coach Todd Haley, his staff, and my teammates for the words I used yesterday"

"I regret my actions. The words were used by me in frustration, and they were not appropriate. I did not intend to offend anyone, but that is no excuse for what I said. "

"I also want to apologize to all the kids who view athletes as role models. I was not a good role model yesterday and hopefully I can become a better role model. We all make mistakes, and the challenge is to learn from them. I will do my best to learn from this one as I move toward becoming a better person, teammate, and member of the Kansas City chiefs team and community."

Remember Maxi Priest?

He got arrested for allegedly kicking his ex-girlfriend's ass on a London street the other day. Seems the ex went mad after she caught Maxi in the car with another woman and threatened to smash his windshield with a brick. While windshield didn't get broken the ex did get pushed to the ground and her dress ripped, or so she told the cops. Maxi was arrested and spent the night in jail before being bailed out.

H-Town and Jodeci Are Back

Angela Simmons Thinks You Care About Her New Boyfriend

So she posted this blog for you on Global Grind
It has been a while since my last post but I've been super busy traveling all over the place..sheessh :) Now that I have a moment to sit down and reflect, I wanted to talk to you about something I have recently noticed. I am a lil surprised at the number of people that seem to disapprove of the relationship with my boyfriend. I find this reality to be kind of hard to accept. There are times when I notice people giving us long hard stares and those stares are usually from my own people! Honestly, I wish everyone could benefit from the beauty that can come from experiences that happen outside of your own comfort zone. It is truly a beautiful thing that can add so much to your life. Give it a shot and you can learn so much from a person you never thought you'd talk to or have something in common with. I'm not just talking about dating but about all types of relationships. Sometimes society makes it hard for us to be comfortable enough in our own skin to embrace others who are different. I am a firm believer that we are all the same. Basically what I'm saying is love everyone. Rise above the hate.

Alicia Keys cd Pushed Back

Originally slated for a December 1rst release date, Alicia Keys new cd 'The Element of Freedom' got pushed back to December 15. Alicia tweeted last night that it's because she wants to add more songs, but whispers around the record industry suggest the push back is because her first single 'Doesn't Mean Anything' didn't take off like they hoped it would. Maybe she'll have better luck with her next single 'Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart'

Joe Jackson Says This is It is a Fake

In an interview last week Joe Jackson said, "This movie features body doubles, no doubt about it. I think people will tear this movie apart."

Community Service for Kanye

Remember that time Kanye and his road manager went nuts on TMZ in LAX and smashed their cameras [click here if you missed that]? The case has just been settled. All charges have been dropped because for one, TMZ decided not to press charges and two, Kanye and his roadie enrolled in anger management classes, so the judge gave 'Ye a community service order and the case has been dismissed.

Tyler Perry Taking Time Off

In Tyler Perry's last newsletter to his fans he revealed how he'd been physically abused by his father as a child [click here if you missed that]. In his newest newsletter Tyler says in response to the abuse allegations his father sent a message to him through his brother saying, "If I had beat your ass one more time you probably would have been Barack Obama." With that Tyler says, he needs to take some time off and that after the Precious film premiere we won't be hearing from him again for the rest of the year. Read Tyler's newsletter here
