Nicki or Not?

Six months ago my bestie tried in vain to convince me that the stud chick who'd outed Remy Ma three years ago on The Cliffy Barz show was new Young Money it girl Nicki Minaj [click here and here if you missed that]. One reason I didn't believe my friend is because the stud in the video said she came from The Bronx and Nicki hails from Queens. Second, though the studly chick sounds like Nicki, she didn't look like Nicki AT ALL to me. But my bestie argued that Nicki had gotten her nose and teeth fixed.

I was still unconvinced until I called Cliffy Barz.

Not the best Time to be on Tour with R Kelly

When the whole Pleasure P child molestation scandal broke, P was on tour with R Kelly. Needless to say he was kicked off the tour immediately. So P went on the radio with Ed Lover and attempted to clear his name against the charges. I say "attempted" because neither he nor his lawyer did a good job of explaining the legal documents that were leaked to the Internet. They were all like, 'We think they're fake.' You THINK they're fake? You don't know for sure? You're really saying they could be real, you just don't know, because the person who leaked them won't reveal their face?

Late yesterday, after 50-11 bitches came forward, every type from porn stars to waitresses, all talking about unprotected sex with Tiger Woods, word spread that Tiger's wife had been seen moving out of their home. Fast forward to this morning when a young female with a blonde ponytail [suspected to be Tiger's wife or her twin sister] was seen taken from the home in an ambulance.

Jennifer Hudson Film Role in Jeopardy

Last month we talked about Jennifer Hudson winning the role of Winnie Mandela in a new film about the former South African First Lady's life [click here if you missed that]. And while that was all well and good for Jennifer, it was not so hot for South African actors. The Creative Workers Union of South Africa are threatening to sue for an injunction against the film unless a South African is cast in the title role.

Before her very public break-up with Shaquille O'Neal, Shaq's wife Shaunie was producing a reality show for VH1 called Basketball Wives. Well, after Shaunie packed up the kids and stormed off to LA to file for divorce we assumed the show was dead in the water. RWS and Shaquille O’Neal are going to learn to stop underestimating Ms. Shaunie's shrewd business sense. Could it Be Her Boyfriend's Wife?

Naomi Campbell, her billionaire boyfriend, and a bunch of other celebrities were in Miami over the weekend for the annual Art Basel event. The Basel, which was subdued and low key last year because of the economy, is back to it's old self and so is Naomi Campbell. People are talking about the 'stalker' who kept acousting Naomi at The Basel all weekend. They say a British woman kept coming up to Naomi screaming in her face and calling her bitches and that the two had to be pulled apart more than once. Surprisingly no blows were thrown but Naomi did have to hire a bodyguard.

Tyrese Wants Some Attention

Tyrese Gibson has one of those Say Now channels, you know where he leaves messages for fans and fans can leave messages for him? Anyway, a few days ago Ty left a disturbing message talking about how he was in pain and going to the hospital and asking fans to pray for him, but not to tell anybody saying he didn't want it to get out to any websites or anything. Yeah right.

Katt Competing With DMX for Most Mugshots in One Year

Last week Rhymes With Snitch reported on a rumor that Katt Williams had been arrested on drug possession charges. RWS-ers know this was days before his arrest at an Atlanta area Walmart [click here if you missed that]. Anyway, turns out the arrest I'd heard about had something to do with bail jumping not drug possession. The bondsman who posted bail for Katt to be released on last months burglary charge [click here if you missed that] had him hauled in for non-payment or something, and the whole Walmart thing? Katt was never really arrested in that incident. What had happened was, the cops were called and Katt was handcuffed and questioned in the cop car. He was never booked.

I Heard

the real reason Tiger Woods' wife kicked his ass was because he has a little tiger on the way. We'd been hearing for years that Tiger was a Cheetah, just never had any proof. And in case you missed it, over the weekend at least SIX NINE women came forward blabbing about their affairs with Tiger. Anyway, as with any baby news, time will tell.
