Let's Hear it For the Weed Carriers

Though Lil Wayne's tour bus was stopped over the weekend and found to have been stuffed chock full of cannabis, no charges against Wayne are expected to be filed as no weed was found on his person. Huzzah!

Lil Wayne Detained Last Night

You know the drill. Lil Wayne's tour bus was pulled over in Texas near the Mexico border last night and the cops found weed. How many times is this going to happen before Wayne hires a nondescript car to trail the buses and carry the weed? I'm just saying.

United Front or United in Fronting?

After news of their divorce became public yesterday Tina and Mathew Knowles released this joint statement
“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”
For our sake, let's hope they go back on their word.

Katt Williams Sued by Personal Assistant

Jacqueline Gutierrez is suing Katt Williams' Katpack Investments for $232,645, claiming she was never paid after spending 10 months on the road working for the wayward comic. Jacqi says not only didn't she get paid, she also had to come out of pocket for hotel bills and other tour related expenses.

Wayans Bros Sued for Plagiarism

A former assistant to the Wayans Bros. filed a lawsuit against them claiming they stole his book idea. Jared Edwards, who'd worked for the Wayans for over ten years, says he approached the brothers with his book "You Know You're a Gold Digger.." but they turned it down and later published their own book, "101 Ways to Know You're a Gold Digger". Keenan, Shawn, Marlon Wayans and St. Martin press are all named in the suit.

When A Woman's Fed Up

If this screen capture from the Harris County District Court website is to be believed Tina Knowles filed for divorce from Mathew Knowles on November 11, 2009. I guess that baby on the way was a bit to much for Mama Tina to bear [click here if you missed that].

Rihanna and Jeezy: Hard

Did You Know Nik from ANTM had a baby with Braylon Edwards?

Me neither! The only reason I know now is because the former America's Next Top Model contestant is suing the NY Jet's wide receiver for $70,000.00 a month in child support. Braylon [who makes $5 million a year] is mad because Nik is from Georgia, had the baby in Georgia and is registered to vote in Georgia but filed for child support in New York because the courts are more generous with child support there. Baylon claims Nik won't even let him see their son, who was born last August.

Ashanti's Stalker

This is Devar Hurd, the guy accused of phone stalking Ashanti. Ashanti's momanger Tina Douglas was in court yesterday testifying that this guy sent her and Ashanti hundreds of text messages about how much he loved Ashanti and how he wanted her to have his babies and pictures of his dick. The guy faces up to two years in prison if convicted on aggravated harassment charges. His lawyer argued Devar is just misunderstood saying, " It's misguided and it may be sick, but it's not criminal. His intent was never to harass."
