On Thursday Gilbert Arenas was charged with one count of carrying a pistol without a license, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Jay Z Says He Does Not Worship the Devil

Jay went on Hot97's Angie Martinez radio show and addressed all the devil worshiping rumors. Jay told Angie,

"For the record, of course I believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell. Teddy Pendergrass, the R&B singer, has died. He was 59 years old. Pendergrass underwent colon cancer surgery eight months ago, and reportedly had a difficult recovery.

The Ghosts of Atlanta Still Haunting Katt Williams

Remember last November when Katt Williams got kicked out of The Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta [click here if you missed that]? At the time it was reported it was because of a disturbance in the hotel lobby. Now, a couple of arrest warrants have surfaced that shed a little more light on the incident. As it turns out, Katt was involved in some kind of freaky deal with some dude that ended in a fight. Though police were called, nobody was arrested. But unbeknownst to Katt the dude recorded part of their conversation that included Katt admitting socking the dude in the face. After the dude took the recordings to police arrest warrants for battery and false imprisonment were issued for Katt.

Lloyd Banks Still Being Detained

Though G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks was issued bail and released from an Ontario jail on robbery and assault charges yesterday, he's now being held by Canadian immigration officials. No details on the immigration detention have been released.
