Say Bye Bye to $35 Mill

One week after the completion of his one year suspension from the NFL after being charged and convicted of DUI manslaughter, after he hit and killed Mario Reyes on a Florida causeway, Cleveland Brown Donte Stallworth has been dropped by his team.  Donte' was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but only served 24, plus a one year suspension from the NFL. Donte'd signed a seven-year $35 million contract with the Browns in 2008.

Evander Holyfield's Wife Files Protective Order

Evander Holyfield's third wife, Candi, called the cops on Evander last week after they got into a late night argument because Candi said the house was too cold. Candi told police the fight started with the heat and progressed to how much money was being donated to the church. Candi says Evander told her she was being selfish and that she should 'keep God first' before busting her twice in the face and in the back of her head. Then he left for the Superbowl. And according to Candi this isn't the first time Evander beat her ass and she says she's had enough of his womanizing and money troubles and is filing for divorce.

Last year one of  Allen Iverson's bodyguards beat the living crap out of a guy who was asking for his autograph at a Detroit area restaurant [click here if you missed that]. May turn out to be the most expensive beating ever. The dude is suing A.I. for $2.5 Million for "severe pain, emotional distress and mental anguish."

Beat Down Dude probably won't get anywhere near the $2.5 he's asking for, but keep in mind a guy from D.C. was awarded $260,000.00 after getting stomped out by Al's goon squad in a nightclub back in 2005.
