Monique Answers the Money Question

In a recent interview Academy Award nominated actress Monique finally put to rest the whole, "she wouldn't promote Precious for free" issue and this time she didn't lie about being too busy or wanting to spend more time with her kids.

Monica's Man has Something to Say

R&B Diva Monica's man Rocko is tired of y'all thinking he's sponging off her so he went on Ustream last night to announce his million dollar deal with Def Jam and to put you haters in your places.

Twitter's Not All Bad

Last night Erykah Babu put out the call to her Twitter followers asking if anybody could put her in touch with Lenny Kravitz. She wanted to talk to Lenny to get in touch with Stella McCartney to get in touch with Paul McCartney to get a sample cleared for a song on her new cd. Bada Boom Bada Bing this tweet led to that tweet and Erykah was able to clear the sample!

Faith Sued Over Biggie Home Movies

Kaushi Entertainment is suing Faith Evans and the Estate of Christopher Wallace for $1 million dollars claiming they paid Faith $30,000.00 for home movies featuring Biggie Smalls but that Fay never forked over the goods. Kaushi wanted to include the clips in a documentary on Big.

Her Daddy Taught her That

It's not Beyonce's fault she claims everything she touches. She's just doing what she's told. In a new interview with Billboard Magazine, producer Rob Fusari explains how Mathew Knowles put him in his place for complaining about Beyonce taking credit for adding Stevie Nicks' guitar riff to one of Destiny's Child's biggest hits, Bootylicious. Fusari says after listening to Beyonce lie over and over about it being her idea to add the riff, he called Mathew bitching about it and 'ol Matty told him, "People don't want to hear about Rob Fusari, producer from Livingston, N.J. No offence, but that's not what sells records. What sells records is people believing that the artist is everything."

Rick Ross' Baby Mama is Suing 50 Cent

Remember last March when 50 Cent dug up one of Rick Ross' baby mama's old porno tapes and posted it on his website [click here if you missed that]? Well she's suing his ass. Now don't confuse one baby mama with the other. One of Rick's baby mamas [Tia] is down with 50 and apparently the other one [Brooke] hates his guts. Brooke says Fif  used the tape without her permission and caused her 'great emotional distress' and she wants to be compensated for her troubles.

Chris Brown Says

“I think people always deserve a second chance. Whatever (Tiger’s) personal life is — and I think this goes for me and him — his personal life is his personal life. Nobody has the right to place judgment or make any judgment on somebody else’s personal life when they’re not directly involved with them.”

Yeah, Good Luck With That

A fence contractor is trying to get paid for installing an electronic fence at Katt Williams' house. Extreme Fence Co. says Katt owes them $8,900.00 for a fence job, so they've filed a lien to get their dough. Seeing as how Katt's house is in foreclosure and his cars are being repo'd I'm not sure what they're liening against, but good luck with that. And Katt, bless his heart, is sticking with his 'comedy retirement' vow and instead only wants to be booked for rap gigs. Which may explain why he was a no-show for a gig he booked in Dallas on All-Star weekend. Those guys are trying to get their money back too, by the way.

Def Comedy Jam Making a Comeback

Russell Simmons and Sanna Lathan's daddy, Stan Lathan, are teaming up again to bring back Def Comedy Jam. Only this time it'll be on Comedy Central and not HBO and I'm not sure if it'll be called Def Comedy or not, but the host is JB Smooth and DJ Cassidy will spin instead of Kid Capri.
