Debbie Allen's brother Tex Allen is suing Terrence Howard for 5 million dollars because Tex says Terrence socked him in the mouth during rehearsals for their Broadway revival of 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.' The beat down occurred back in January, which makes one wonder why Tex would wait so long to take action. Anywho, Terrence's publicist says, "We are aware of the allegations and expect this frivolous suit to be dismissed." So there.
Last Friday it was reported that Isiah Thomas had suffered an accidental drug overdose after swallowing 10 Lunesta sleeping pills. Isiah later denied the reports claiming, yes, paramedics had been called to his house, but not for him. Isiah claimed it was his 17 year old hypoglycemic daughter Lauren who was having the medical issue.
Riiight.
You know how you say you're going out with your one friend, but instead you go out with your secret lover, but you forget to call your friend and tell them that you told your people you were supposed to be with them and then they call the house and inadvertently bust you? Same rule applies here. While Isiah maintains it was his daughter who had the medical problem the cops who showed up on the scene are shooting down his lies.
"It wasn't his daughter," Chief David Hall told The Associated Press."My cops ... know the difference between a 47-year-old black male and a young black female."
Next time Isiah, have your people clear it with their people before you make a statement. mmmkay thanx!
Harrison Police were called to Isiah Thomas' house last night around midnight for a report of a possible overdose.
When Isaac Hayes' last will and testament was read people were shocked to find that he left nada one red cent to the church of Scientology. Isaac, who made major career decisions at the behest of the controversial church, had his estate divided into thirds. A third went to his adult children, a third went to his widow and young son and a third went to his own charitable foundation.
Yesterday in Atlanta somebody called the police to report shots fired. When the cops arrived on the scene R&B singer Lyfe Jennings screeched off in his corvette. After a short high speed chase, Lyfe crashed into a tree and was taken into custody and charged with fleeing and eluding officers, discharging a firearm near a public highway, refusing to take a sobriety test and felony weapon possession by a convicted felon.
