As you may or may not have heard, Jermaine Jackson is planning a tribute for his late brother Michael in Vienna, Austria. At first several big name acts were attached to the program, Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, Akon, Natalie Cole, Sister Sledge plus Jermaine hinted at a duet between him and Michael. <--huh?
Anyway, after rumblings that none of the other family members were in favor of the tribute or were even going to be there, especially mother Katherine, stars have been dropping out left and right. First Chris Brown cancelled and then Mary J. Insiders are referring to the "tribute' as the Jermaine Jackson Show and citing it as another example of Jermaine doing what's best for Jermaine as opposed to what's best for the family.

Trey Songz Says
"At this point I feel like R Kelly knows if he was to step in that arena with me he couldn’t PLAY with me as far as lyrically, word play or metaphorically in that arena after the way I came on death of Kellz. Kellz is older he’s an old man."

Dr. Roxanne Shante Speaks
After getting busted out by Slate.com for lying about earning her PhD, Roxanne Shante gave this curt response to Lemondrop.com, "I'm just gonna let it go ... What he's [slate.com] trying to do is trying to get himself known, to get the popular sites to read after him. This is not a $5 billion Ponzi scheme. What would make someone go so hard and heavy at that?"

Doug E. Fresh Says
about Scientology, "I am the first Hip-Hop artist to do it. Isaac Hayes was a former coworker of Miss Jones and he told her about it. I went with her to one of the classes. Miss Jones stopped going but I continued. I found it fascinating. It changed how I thought. I've learned how to look at things and not judge them but respect them and use it in a way that people understand that I respect them, show them love and respect their reality. Scientology is not a White religion. It is not just for White people. Scientology is not written with disrespect toward God. It doesn't worship something that is evil. It is scientific, mathematical, and spiritual. The Black community has to check it out and see what's there. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but you have to take a look. You may be amazed at what you get."
