Travis Henry Arrested On Cocaine Charges

Damn Travis. The last time we talked about former Denver Bronco Travis Henry was last October when he failed a drug test and faced suspension from the NFL, jeopardizing his 22.5 million dollar contract. Before that, Travis made the hallowed halls of RWS when a Georgia child support case revealed he'd fathered 9 kids with 9 different baby mamas and hadn't been taking care of 7 of them. Trav got released from the Broncos this past June after averaging 4.1 yards per carry and I guess that's when he started his new line of work. Travie and his boy James Mack were arrested Tuesday after trying to pull off a multi-kilo coke deal in Centennial, Colorado. The dude they were buying from was cooperating with the DEA. Oh, and shortly after Trav was let go by the Broncos, his latest drug test came back positive for weed.

Janet Cancelling Concerts Left and Right

Janet Jackson cancelled two more concerts. After getting sick and cancelling her Montreal concert less than an hour before showtime, Janet has cancelled her Boston and Philly tour stops and a concert in Michigan has been rescheduled. You didn't hear this from me, but word on the street is Jan has been playing to half filled venues and is losing buku bucks on this tour and that's what's really making her "sick".

Oprah's Mama Counter Sues

Oprah Winfrey's mother, Vernita Lee, is suing the clothing store that is suing her for $156,000.00 in unpaid clothes and services, claiming she shouldn't have to pay because the store extended credit despite knowing her troubles managing debt. "The account is "unconscionable, and therefore, unenforceable because Valentina knowingly and unfairly took advantage of Lee's lack of knowledge, ability, and/or capacity when Valentina created the account," the civil lawsuit says.

Janet Jackson has been hospitalized after getting sick hours before a concert, her rep said last night.

Janet canceled her concert in Montreal yesterday after she "got suddenly ill" during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.

A statement issued by her people says Jackson is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show.

Jackson, 42, is on a North American tour.

Lil Wayne Bails On Nassau Concert

From one of my e-pals: Lil Wayne and Buju Banton were supposed to headline a concert in Nassau, Bahamas Friday September 26th 2008. The show was postponed until Saturday 27th 2008. On Saturday, despite rain and other inconveniences, people arrived at the concert in droves. Buju performed, but Lil Wayne was a 'NO SHOW'. A local news paper was quoted as saying they believe it was a money issue but, concert goers are still not sure what happened. The promoters for the event was Red City Entertainment. General admission was $45, VIP was $80, Platinum was $200 including Bacardi drinks and food. They also had 6 sky boxes for $20,000 EACH and Lisa 'Red' Tottle of Red City Entertainments said 4 were already sold as of Thursday the 25th. (The sky boxes included a hostess, a bartender, free drinks and food and easy access to a bathroom, oh and they can ONLY hold 20 people each. so that's like $1000 PER PERSON!!!!).
