Things are going from bad to much worse for Chad Johnson. First he lost his wife, then he lost his job and now he's about to lose his condo in Miami...
According to Gossip Extra Chad hasn't paid the $863 a month maintenance fee on his condo since 2009 and was just notified if he doesn't make good on the $31,000 balance the apartment is headed for foreclosure.
And that's not all.
To make ends meet Chad accepted a $150,000 loan from two private investors in Palm Beach and had to use a $350,000 house he bought one of his baby mamas for collateral!

I've watched it happen. People think it's only poor people living pay check to pay check but it's these players as well. It can and it happens in condo and HOA situations. Its happening more often since the economy tanked with people ignoring their HOA fees. Google it and you'll find info on it.
In certain states all an HOA has to do is take you to court and file for a foreclosure if you're past due a certain amount in fees. Some states allow HOAs to post a lien ahead of your mortgage or 2nd loan to be in first position and force someone into foreclosure for monies owed. Part of what I do is mortgages and there are certain Condo and HOAs that we will not do business with people wanting to purchase a home or refinance in their properties based on how they handle defaulted HOA fees.
