This past summer En Vogue split in two with Dawn Robinson and Maxine Jones on one side and Cindy Herron and Terry Ellis on the other side [click here if you missed that].

They are the ugliest members of the group anyway. The other two have always been the sexiest. Cindy and Terry are waayyyy sexier. So they Beowulf and BigMixx did the group a favor and left.
I like En Vogue i wish they would have stayed together but some times peoples Egos can get in the way. I think En Vogue was a better group than Destiny Child vocally.
Please. Both EnVogue and Destiny's Child sounded great. The difference is EnVogue was a more mature group, and their material reflected it. Destiny's Child was geared for a younger audience and their music reflected that. There is NO NEED for comparisons since there is PLENTY of room for any group as long as they sound great. There does not have to be one OR the other.
In a real ass J-O-B and sometimes career, it is not uncommon for a new employee to make more starting out than somebody that has been there for a minute. Don't even have to be about ur skill set but the fucking cost an employer has to pay to get new people in the fucking door. THIS MY FRIENDS, IS WHY THEY ENCOURAGE US NOT TO DISCUSS PAY. This only BENEFITS the EMPLOYER and YOUR EGO don't do shit for getting more or better food on ur table though.

A lot of times, groups don't realize that their money gets cut in so many ways, by the time that you see your cut; you're better off getting a regular nine to five.
The people who make the money are the record company, the writers, the publishers, the federal government, and the artists gets what comes from the sell of the project, which can be as little as 2 cents per album. Trust me, read the fine print. ALWAYS
I agree Anon@230; they better take a page from the book of TLC and Toni Braxton; even Vesta said that she had money issues in her episode of Unsung. It's no wonder some artist STAY touring just to pay the bills.
En Vogue actually used to sing 4 part HARMONY and not sound confused sanging each others parts.. plus each of them could hold their OWN solo parts equally as good as the NEXT.. it makes sense bc they AUDITIONED to be in the group and were screened by GRAMMY HIT MAKING PRODUCERS B4 THEY WERE EVEN PUT TOGETHER.... SO YEAH THEY WERE THE SHYYYTT!!!!
Xscape may have been better vocally (minus Kandy who cannot sing), but they were ugly as fuck. One who could really sing was uber fat, and the rest looked like rejects.

If memory serves me, when Dawn broke away from the group the first time people were saying she was in a very volatile with her husband and that he was part of the reason she left---negative influence. I will look at the interview....
These women were not given there fair share of the money ...the producers i.e THOMAS McELROY an DENZIL FOSTER . And the label i.e. ELECKTRA RECORDS / SYLVIA RHONE were getting all of the money ...that is what happen .
The girls were doing a lot of work ...and in the end , have nothing to show for it ...sad. I would be out of a group like that too....what's the point if your not really making money .
And Terry did not have a problem with anything because... at the time she was dating one of the producers.
Dawn sounds stupid as hell. She admits that she signed a deal to get paid a certain amount and got mad at getting paid that amount. I feel zero sympathy for music artists who get pimped on record deals. There is over a hundred years of history on musical contract law. Only porn performers have a clearer view of their "job". Music contracts are easily understood with high school math.
Those record executives got these artists fighting like crabs in a barrel.
