Patti LaBelle is being sued by her longtime manager for breach of contract...
Damascene Pierre Paul, who managed Patti LaBelle from 1999 through 2009, claims Patti refuses to abide by the separation package they agreed to when they parted ways.
Damascene claims Patti agreed to pay him a percentage of royalties and commissions from certain concerts, records, musical compositions, books and Patti's Good Life products.
Damascene also says Patti promised him to two pieces of real estate and $125,000.00 paid in installments.
In exchange Damascene agreed to drop his defamation lawsuit against Patti and return a 2007 Mercedes Benz.
Damascene says he kept his part of the bargain, but Patti has not, and now he's seeking the original settlement, plus more than $50,000 in damages.

Sad...it's a broke ass economy and people are trying to come up. Yes Patti does have that kind of money and I am sure she has the best lawyers money can buy and will get out of this...I remember when someone sued her for being abusive in the condo in NYC she lives in...that was settled quickly out of court.....money talks and bullish walks.

What a loser he had nothing when he met Patti.....NOTHING. Was a deadbeat dad!! Patti made him somebody and now he is trying to exploit her for everything he can.
