The issue is their attack on an innocent woman and the media’s lack of attention to Sharmeka’s story.
Republicans and the Tea Party incite racism to rally support from scumbags like the KKK, and I feel like they are partly to blame as well. During this election cycle there has been an overload of racist fueled propaganda to undermine the President and his humanity. Where do we draw the line? There has to be some accountability when innocent people are attacked simply for supporting a political party. This is not 1961, nothing can stop black people from participating in the democratic process so get over it. We have a black president, it has already made history and there is nothing you can do to change that FACT.
And black people have a voice. So, to the backwoods terrorists who think they can perpetuate violence and hate, think again. You will be found and tried for your heinous acts. I just want to know why does this bother so many people? She has the right to choose whom she wants to choose. Maybe, she just doesn't agree with Obama's policies. And, if that's the case, that's her business. One less vote from her towards Obama, is not going to make the world crumble. People just automatically assume that because you're African-American you're supposed to vote for Obama. It's not about his skin color, but about what he stands for. Some people will agree and there will be others who don't. Minus his policies and what he stands for, sometimes, I have to wonder if some people voted for Obama to become President just because he's an African-American, and they wanted to finally make history by having one in the White House?
