I remember the first EWF song I heard and it transformed my life as a musician. "I Think About Loving You" was the slow jam in 1972.
Thanks for the amazing music and memories you created through your gifts.

I am deeply broken hearten when you consider the TRASH called Music today

I honestly believe EARTH WIND & FIRE were the GREATEST band ever......not the BEATLES

I went to their Concert in the last '80s

Erth, wind and fire on't the credit and exposure that George Clinton and P-Funk has gotten. That group was tight and the live up to their name: EArth (the rhythm section),WIND (Maurice, main singwriter) and FIRE ( Phillips Bailey).

Thank for the awesome talent and voice, leader of the greatest bands to grace the world. RIP thank you for the gift of music. Why complain about the music of today when we have EWF.

It's a shame that mass majority of the time regarding black celebs in life, we bring up an artist's past/present life style and talk shit about them. In death they are talented, looked upon, legends, contributed to whatever etc... #facts. RIP Maurice.

Pray for his soul....Demonic influenced music...check out G. Craige Lewis...how Earth, Wind, and Fire couldn't believe that people played the song Reasons at weddings because of the meaning...check the lyrics people...check out the Egyptian influences of Earth, Wind, and Fire

Please everybody google "Brazillian Rhyme, the long version" on youtube
It was an overlooked jewel

RIP Mr White!
And thank u so much for your sharing your talent and music with us

@11:14 pm
I know. I like G. Craige Lewis stuff too
The music industry is something else
Even Ashly and Simpson is questionable
But sometimes I wonder about Barry's White stuff cause he said he wrote all his songs for his wife and that she inspired most of it
But like Chaka Khan said too, the industry is demonic

Damn I just saw some of the group members (Bailey and the dude with the long hair who's name I can't recall) in an interview and I was wondering where Maurice was... RIP.... this band was phenomenal...

Damn...the musical geniuses of our time are leaving us, and we're left with crap from Beydunce and Rhi'ho'nna.

RIP brother Maurice. He brought real musicianship to the scene and did so much to make black folks feel proud of who we are.

The music of a generation lies within that band right there! Thank you for your self love and bravery to encourage the same in others through beautiful sounds and words.

Tthe light in me sees the light in you -

Namaste

I hate that the only time that most so-called Black or urban radio stations play decent music is when talented artists such as Mr. White and Natalie Cole and others have passed on. Keep your heads to the sky, good music lovers.
