Keesha Sharp Bumps Golden Brooks From Lethal Weapon TV Pilot

Last month it was announced that Damon Wayans was starring in the pilot for new Lethal Weapon TV series [click here if you missed that].

Hollywood Divas star Golden Brooks just lost her part in the pilot to Keesha Sharp...

According to Deadline Golden Brooks got the boot after last nights table read and was replaced with her 'Girlfriends' co-star Keesha Sharp.

Keesha will play Damon Wayans' character Roger Murtaugh's wife Trish.

Keesha played William's girlfriend Monica on 'Girlfriends.'

That's easy. Keesha Sharp can actually act.

Golden with all the "education" has no range. Mya. Mya. Mya.

Black women are expendable. Should have cast a mixed chick.

Golden does this thing with her face where it looks like she's always squinting. I like Keesha. I was wondering what happened to her till she popped up on the OJ series (which is good as hell, btw)

@10.27

No mutts allowed, Ruff Ruff.

Good for Keisha. Whatever happened with the witch movie Golden and the other ladies were fighting over.

I always see golden as Maya, like I always see lusaraye as Diamond.

I would live to see a 'Girlfriends' movie with all of them.

Golden's hair is always sad and tired, and 11:00 AM you are right. She needs a new hairstyle.

She's bringing heat in the oj movie.

12:11 is right; That OJ movie is great and she's wonderful in it.

And 10:27 - Speak to any casting director; The "one-drop rule" is still in full effect, you under-exposed troll.

Well in order to mix something you have to start with the original silly rabbit. Without real black men/women there is no such thing as a mix...so you might wanna think over that whole expendable thing..

Mix or bi racial is the new thing. Eventually there will be no more black and white. You shouldn't have to choose between the two just be YOU.

Being biracial is the best of both cultures and they make the cutest babies.
DEAL WIT'IT.

you keep believing the black race is dying out. Even those mixed mutts are dominated by the black gene. Cuter kids? Excuse me while I laugh. I won't even call names to prove how much of a liar you are. I'm sure growing up not being "black" enough or being not white at all has put enough stress on your chest.

Now go sit on somebody couch and work out those mixed kid feelings. We're black and proud over here.

Fully agree with 12:11 and she kept her looks, unlike Maya. (sorry Maya loved you in girlfriends)

I like Keesha as an actress, plus shes sexy as hell. Golden will have to settle for bit parts as an actress. Girlfriends really was as good as it gets for her. For her to get dropped after the table read meant the producers didn't really leave her as the final decision. In the event they couldn't get a stronger actress in time to shoot, they'd go with Golden. It's the pilot, so know that casting changes are normal from pilot to series.

Damon Wayans is known for this. Ask the first daughter he cast Raven Kelly and then by series air, he had the other little girl play the youngest daughter.
