Afrika Bambaataa Speaks Out

Earlier this month four men came forward with shocking allegations claiming they had been sexually molested by Hip Hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa as teens [click here if you missed that].

In his first radio interview since the claims came to light Afrika Bambaataa speaks out...

Afrika Bambaataa tells The Ed Lover Show,
“This is false allegations that’s being put against me and a lot of lies. It could be me today and you tomorrow.“
"I completely deny all type of accusations that are being put against your brother Afrika Bambaataa.”
“You really need to ask the question, 'Why now? What is the hidden agenda behind this?'"

How dare you all tear down this proud brother BUT you cry and worship at a midget who pranced around in high heels and make up ,portraying an imagine of a de-masculinized black man for a generation of young impressionable brothas to look up to.

Lol @10:56am, just because he looks like a "image" of a strong black man, does not mean he didnt touch those young boys
Have u ever heard of a homo thug?
Look back on history of the Roman culture
The true gays looked very very masculine
The new image that is being portrayed today
are not the real image and is sort of a mockery

I agree 11:33am. @10:56am, no need to disrespect one person to uplift the other. Prince image has nothing to do with how well he treated humans. Too bad Afrikabambata might have did something his image cant' help.

Ed lover should have said his catch phrase Come on man quit bullshitting and fes up. Nobody in their right mind would make these type allegations on social media. Truth speaks volumes over street cred any day

What hidden agenda is that? Is this nigga serious?! Men don't tend to come out and admit that have been sexually assaulted, particularly if it is from the hands of another man and esecially in the black community. These man are not lying. You just got caught bruh admit it.

I believe every one of them. It takes decades for child molestation victims to be able to deal with what happened and speak out. Especially men. He is trying to protect his legacy and reputation by speaking out. Nobody believes you dude. Fess up and repent and maybe those poor victims can get healing. I just hope he doesn't have access to any young boys right now!

I'm sorry but this guy sounds guilty. I don't think he wants to bring on a case of slander with these young men b/c everything would really come to the light. No man would admit to being molested unless they had been. He sounds like guilty Uncle Chester, he better smile for his picture for the sex offender registration b/c the picture will be there soon.

This nigga has nothing for TPTB to target him for. He is guilty as sin.

“This is false allegations that’s being put against me and a lot of lies. It could be me today and you tomorrow.“ Yeah, because anybody who is touching kids is gonna admit to it. Fucking Meatball!

So far all the men that came forward do not strike me as liars or publicity hounds. Their stories were straight forward ano full of pain. You can hear the shame and disgust in their voices. Bambatta ruined their lives. One guy even said that for years he hated gay people because what was done to him just once by Bambatta. I'm glad these men are finding public support more than scorn, ridicule and harassment.

@10:56 Bruh you sound like a Fool. Do you know how hard it is for a Molestation Victim to come out and say that someone did something to them? Especially a male. Look how long it took. They have too much detail to be lying. WTH would they gain out of lying on Afrika in the 1st place? And no one is Glorifying the Death of Prince. Prince did a whole lot and kept it on the low. You never heard of any kind of scandal with him. You can say what you want. But he ain't play, suck or touch no other males penis.
