Prince's Ashes On Display at Paisley Park

Over the weekend Paisley Park Studios was opened for a special limited engagement and apparently the late rocker Prince was also in attendance...

According to reports Prince's ashes are on permanent display at Paisley Park Studios in an urn co-designed by his sister Tyka.

Tyka and Prince's nephew teamed up with local artists Foreverence to create an original concept that symbolized Prince’s home, recording studio and sanctuary.

Paisley Park studio tours are currently on hold until civic matters are addressed with the Chanhassen City Council [click here if you missed that].

@11:56 Yeah when someone leaves before their time, it's a little creepy. I think that should be a family thing.

WOW- they are really desecrating this man legacy. Opening paisley park when he was so private, breaking into and releasing his vaulted music, and now putting his ashes on display. SHAME ON HIS FAMILY!!! And shame on any "fan" who would go see this. Just terrible!

We have to remember they are still devastated over losing their beloved Prince. Their decisions may be a bit off track to some of us, but in trying to put myself in Tyka's shoes to feel her pain, putting his ashes on display may just be their way of grieving while holding on to him.
