Meek Mill Petitions for a New Judge

Last week rapper Meek Mill was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in state prison for violating the conditions of his parole for a 2008 gun and drug conviction [click here if you missed that].

Now Meek is asking for a new judge...

According to reports Meek Mill's attorney plans to file a motion for the judge to remove herself from the case and have filed a complaint with the judicial conduct board.

Last week Meek's attorney shockingly accused Judge Genece Brinkley of having a vendetta against Meek because he refused to shout her out on a song or resign with his old manager, and her old friend, Charlie Mack [click here if you missed that].

Sit your ass down and handle business and be quiet, very simple.
I could care less about this fucking case and the stupidity he continues to be caught up in...

I'm actually glad he did this. If the stories are true, how is it appropriate for a judge to request this man to remake a song (for her) and do a shout out to her on the track. (They declined and she got mad). Seems like an obvious conflict of interest to me.

It's worth a try anyway. *shrug*

If those rumors are true her crazy ass needs to disbarred! Type of ghetto funky shit is this?!

If the judge was so bad why wait until now to ask for a new one

@5:13 - maybe because he felt the she would have some type of integrity and not let what happened affect her judgement.

But (it appears) he was wrong.

There is history with Meek and this judge before he became famous. She should be disbarred and it's good the FBI is investigating her. I thought he was doing some typical shit but she is definitely out of line in this case. Abusing her power to sentence unnecessary time on him that doesn't fit the crime.
Her arrogance just put herself on notice and will probably end with her being fired.
