I remember when he joined the Temptations. No one thought he could replace David Ruffin, but he did and he did it good.

Yeah, I'm old, and I'm really feelin' old now.

He and Areatha hung out for awhile, but he was intimidated by her power (his words). He also said one the big mistakes of his life was breaking up with her.

Aretha said when she wrote "Daydreaming" she was thinking of Dennis.

RIP, bruh.

5:15 P.M. -- It wasn't chewing gum. It was crack/cocaine mouth -- a common reaction. It's no secret that he struggled with it which led to him getting kicked out of The Temptations for a period of time. He was a great singer; a real gospel inspired belter. It's no secret that Aretha Franklin held a torch for Dennis Edwards for some time. He was blessed to live into his seventies. The tragedy of The Temptations is the premature deaths of most of the members. Gone but never forgotten.
