She gave me a printout that had a nigga name, correct address, correct social security number, and showed that I showed in person, and voted via machine. Mindblowing, because again, I've never voted a day in mah life, on mah momma.
So long story short, I make some demands complete with da Icecube scowl and a lil finger-pointin' and she brings a nigga fresh ballot, which I check Obama and da other democrats, give da shit back to her, and watch her run mah shit through da system and verify as counted.
They tryna steal VIRGINIA, ya'll. And probably a gang of otha places. Whoever stole mah vote, if ya bitchass used it to vote for McCain, I just erased dat bitch. If for some crazy reason (yeh right) da shit got used to vote Obama, then a nigga doubled up on they ass.

I wanted to share my thoughts about this election. WOW! I'm so overcome with joy, words really can't describe how I feel.

I get chills just typing that, because for so long it just didn't seem possible. Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Muslim ties, blah blah blah and the American people ALMOST fell for that shit too. This time it was different, this time people had enough and REALLY wanted change.
I'm proud of our country and all the people who endured long ass lines and voting problems. Bush and his bitches took this country to the abyss and almost pushed us in forever, BUT, for the first time in the history of the United States we said ENOUGH and took a huge chance. I remember hearing the stories from my Grandparents as a child about how they couldn't vote, or were scared to vote because White folks might kill them just for doing so.
Look at how far our people have come! We are no longer a race of hopelessness, despair thugs and rap music. President Barack Obama gives us the hope to keep striving to improve our circumstances. The tears of joy keep flowing and will be nonstop for a while.
Let's continue to keep President Obama, First Lady Michelle, Sasha and Malia in our prayers! Shondee
I'm thankful, man. Thankful for the brothaz and sistaz that were NOT playin' around and NOT fallin' for the okeydoke yesterday. I'm also thankful for the many White people that didn't buy into all the ridiculous bullshit that was being used to craft OUR PRESIDENT (damn that feels good to say) as some unpatriotic mystery nigga with terrorist and anti-semitist ties, and a plan to rob the country blind. For once in this country, common sense prevailed and people have something to look forward to because for the better part of the last 8 years, they've been toyin' with our asses like a scientific experiment.
Here's to steppin' up and listening to this man's challenges, because unlike his predecessors, he's challenging the people to a man/woman to restore our communities and our way of life, and to develop more national pride regardless of what skin color you're dealing with.
Here's to sittin' down for aabout 15 minutes and just thinking of all the people in our past that deserve thanks. Even Jesse Jackson, who although he's had his shortcomings, is a big part of the last "era of struggle".
Here's to what has to be for many, our proudest moment as African-Americans. Through all the attempts to belittle him and paint a false picture of him...Through all the shady ads and even disrespect during the debates...He never once flinched because he was focused on taking care of bidness, and that brotha knew he had the people behind him, and because of it, we drug McCain and Palin's asses all over da map yesterday.

So I gets to the desk to show my card and notice that there'a big ass "H" beside a nigga name.
"Sir, this here shows that you voted already. It says you voted in person, using a voting machine on October 29th" I damn near lost it, man. I'll be 100 with yall too. A nigga voted for the first time ever today, so when she told me I'd voted before it took a lot not to show a nigga color.
Anyways, 3 hours, 5 phone calls, and 30 conversations later, I'm at the central absentee voting station, where a lady shows me a printout of my so-called voting session. The shit was mindblowing. She gave me a printout that had a nigga name, correct address, correct social security number, and showed that I showed in person, and voted via machine. Mindblowing, because again, I've never voted a day in mah life, on mah momma.
So long story short, I make some demands complete with da Icecube scowl and a lil finger-pointin' and she brings a nigga fresh ballot, which I check Obama and da other democrats, give da shit back to her, and watch her run mah shit through da system and verify as counted.
They tryna steal VIRGINIA, ya'll. And probably a gang of otha places. Whoever stole mah vote, if ya bitchass used it to vote for McCain, I just erased dat bitch. If for some crazy reason (yeh right) da shit got used to vote Obama, then a nigga doubled up on they ass.
They tryna fuck with us and make niggaz impatient and uncomfortable, but FUCK THAT. Don't let nobody steal that vote.

I voted to today and it took a lot for a tear not to shed. There was NO ONE in that line, you could literally hit a backflip in the place.
BG a somewhat similar situation happened to me: I had a lecture from 2:30 until 4:45 so I called my division and a poll administrator told me the polls closed at 5pm. I was literally breaking my ass to try and get to a poll only to find out they closed at 7pm and I still had ample time. I prolly should have known that but....... Good for you Brother.

I wanted to share my thoughts about this election. WOW! I'm so overcome with joy, words really can't describe how I feel.

I get chills just typing that, because for so long it just didn't seem possible. Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Muslim ties, blah blah blah and the American people ALMOST fell for that shit too. This time it was different, this time people had enough and REALLY wanted change.
I'm proud of our country and all the people who endured long ass lines and voting problems. Bush and his bitches took this country to the abyss and almost pushed us in forever, BUT, for the first time in the history of the United States we said ENOUGH and took a huge chance. I remember hearing the stories from my Grandparents as a child about how they couldn't vote, or were scared to vote because White folks might kill them just for doing so.
Look at how far our people have come! We are no longer a race of hopelessness, despair thugs and rap music. President Barack Obama gives us the hope to keep striving to improve our circumstances. The tears of joy keep flowing and will be nonstop for a while.

I'm thankful, man. Thankful for the brothaz and sistaz that were NOT playin' around and NOT fallin' for the okeydoke yesterday. I'm also thankful for the many White people that didn't buy into all the ridiculous bullshit that was being used to craft OUR PRESIDENT (damn that feels good to say) as some unpatriotic mystery nigga with terrorist and anti-semitist ties, and a plan to rob the country blind. For once in this country, common sense prevailed and people have something to look forward to because for the better part of the last 8 years, they've been toyin' with our asses like a scientific experiment.
Here's to steppin' up and listening to this man's challenges, because unlike his predecessors, he's challenging the people to a man/woman to restore our communities and our way of life, and to develop more national pride regardless of what skin color you're dealing with.
Here's to sittin' down for aabout 15 minutes and just thinking of all the people in our past that deserve thanks. Even Jesse Jackson, who although he's had his shortcomings, is a big part of the last "era of struggle".
Here's to what has to be for many, our proudest moment as African-Americans. Through all the attempts to belittle him and paint a false picture of him...Through all the shady ads and even disrespect during the debates...He never once flinched because he was focused on taking care of bidness, and that brotha knew he had the people behind him, and because of it, we drug McCain and Palin's asses all over da map yesterday.
There's power in numbers and power in people and like he reitterated last night, this government is SUPPOSED to be of, for, and by the people. We gotta start somewhere and if you aint motivated right now you neva will be. Time to get our minds right.
