Yesterday it was all over the Internet that former Blaque member Natina Reed had been arrested for cocaine possession, prostitution and disorderly conduct. Turns out only the disorderly conduct charge was real. The rest were just lies and photoshops concocted to generate blog hits. Damn, why didn't I think of that?
But for seriously though, you can't blame anybody for being quick to believe the gossip because Natina did take a crackhead prostitute looking mugshot, making the photoshopped booking papers that more believable.
Too bad a whole day went by, with the phony booking papers saturating the urban blogsphere, before someone in Natina's camp reached out to Sandra Rose and linked her to the real booking sheet that showed Natina was arrested for having an open intoxicant, and that's all.
