Naomi Campbell is Feeling Insecure

She's asked that special measures be taken for her security when she testifies before The Hague this week.

Naomi Campbell will be in the Netherlands August 5th to testify whether or not she received uncut diamonds from Liberian dictator Charles Taylor. Taylor has pleaded not guilty to using 'blood diamonds' to fund civil war in Sierra Leone and his conviction could rest on Naomi's testimony. Naomi has expressed fear for herself and her family if she testifies and her representative, Lord MacDonald, has requested,
that "members of the public, the media, the parties and the court not follow, photograph, video record or sketch Miss Campbell's transit to the court within the Netherlands and that the government of the Netherlands be respectfully invited to assist in the enforcement of this protective measure."
Lord MacDonald also asked to be able to speak on Naomi's behalf while she's on the stand and wants to ban disclosure of details "of any sort" about her except for the testimony, which will be aired in a live feed from the trial.
