Ja Rule facing jail time for falling to pay his taxes...

From NY Daily
Queens-born rapper Ja Rule pleaded guilty Tuesday to failing to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income.

Born Jeffrey Atkins in Hollis, the platinum-selling singer told a New Jersey judge he didn't pay taxes on the big coin he earned between 2004 and 2006.

He faces up to one year in prison and $100,000 in fines when he is sentenced in June.
Around the same time, Atkins, 35, will be starting a two-year prison sentence on a weapons conviction in New York.

Ja Rule was nominated for a 2002 Grammy Award for the album, "Pain is Love."
