Rihanna and Britney Spears performing together is already a second coming in Billboard Music circles so them pushing the envelope with a sapphic kiss could have possibly over shadowed whatever else was happening that night *cough* Millennium Award *cough*. But as soon as Rihanna and Britney went in for their kiss, ABC cut to the audience reaction and didn't cut back until Rihanna and Britney had released their embrace, effectively ruining their moment.
